The last 4 times I gave my resume to someone to give to another person, it

It's a pain true,some are just being nice others might of felt they legitmately could of got you an interview or it was a possablity but nothing panned out. Next time ask how likely are the chance of you getting an interview.

 

Who knows one of the those people who handed your resumes to hr could call back in a few weeks. Four people handing a resume to hr isn't a great number. It's hard to say if someone is a time waster,like others said it's just printing out a piece of paper. It can be a litte tedious but eventually some of those connections can bring some interview.

 

My resume to was given to 3 people last week who i don't know at ALL and it resulted in 3 interviews.

That means they didn't give my resume to anyone and was lying

Yeah, great conclusion. Bet they printed it out and burnt it. After that they went for a walk and kicked a small cat. The bastards. Well I defintely learned my lesson, only give my resume to people I don't know
