jadedone Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Just finished my shopping for my girlfriend. 5 gifts bought and wrapped. Now she can stare at them from a distance wondering what's inside.
Janesays Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 My man lucked out and got his tonight. It had to be delivered and they obviously couldn't do it on xmas.
Stung Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 I finished most of my shopping back in November, because I'm just like that. I don't have anything wrapped yet, though. I do every other Christmas thing--organizing, decorating, shopping, taking the kids caroling, baking, etc.--but I'm a crappy haphazard wrapper, and I leave that to my husband. He always does it at the last minute, but he's anal about it and his creases are neat. His big present was just delivered today, and it's so bulky/heavy I had to struggle to even get it into the house. I was planning to hide it in the basement, but I can't get it down those narrow stairs by myself, and unfortunately the box clearly says what's on the inside. For right now I'm just leaving it in the hallway, covered by a tarp, and trusting him not to look. He kind of knows what it probably is, anyway--we're going pragmatic this year and buying each other things we needed anyway for our new house. It's probably going to take me at least one whole roll of wrapping paper and a lot of swearing to get it wrapped.
Pyro Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Instead of exchanging gifts we are saving our money for a road trip. We plan on leaving for it Christmas night.
