runner Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I have a pretty strong work ethic. I attribute it in part to my parents who had us do chores from an early age, and instilled the practice of "business before pleasure". How do you handle chores in your home? What is your opinion on what's appropriate and what isn't? Were you required to do them? How did it affect you? before i ran into this, i was just unloading the dryer thinking to myself, "gawd i'm so sick of laundry; i need to start having kids and have them do it." i had two other siblings and the three of us managed the household whilst the 'rents played masters of the universe. i think i managed alright in the end; my house is spotless at the moment, to the point where i appear embarrasingly OCD.
