in_absentia Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 I loved being single when I was. It was awesome. But being with the love of my life? Infinitely more awesome.
Woggle Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 I must say that I can't see myself being happy in any marriage but the one I have now. It is a very unique thing that can only be had with my current wife.
azsinglegal Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 I prefer to be in a relationship. Been single for a very long time. Ups and downs to both. It really depends I think. Being single, I like having my own house. I like coming home to MY place and I can run around naked all I want. Being in a relationship, I like doing all of the above at his house too.
EnigmaticClarity Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 I don't miss anything about being single because I am in a relationship that makes me more happy than being single ever could, aside from the fact that I can still do most of the things a single person can do (go out, staying up all night watching whatever I want, passing out in bed) cos we don't live together due to our jobs. but even if we did live together it wouldn't make things different cos we can be in the same room together and do different things, yet enjoy each others company. blissful silence, if you will. someone said once "you know you're in love when being loyal is enjoyable", so I agree, you don't sound happy. Yea, lots of stuff people are listing about being enjoyable while single are possible while committed. I don't miss much either, but I do miss the initial relationship stages such as first kisses, clicking with someone on the first few dates, all of the romantic stuff. You can be romantic forever, but the first few hours/days/weeks are always more intense since you're not sure it's going to work out until it actually does.
