I don't want to date anymore." Typing one sentence wouldn't require a confrontation. It's respectful, yes? Women like closure. Do men do this so they can have an ego boost or something? Because they know we will call and be like wtf? (which they will ignore). That we might even call 2 or 3 times and ask them wtf (which they will also ignore and then feel fabulous about "winning")? Is it like a punishment thing? You pissed me off in some way that you are unaware of and I didn't express at the time, so now you get the silent treatment?? ARGGGHHHHH

I always wait for a guy to contact me. If he doesn't then I know he isn't interested. There would be no texting him or calling him multiple times. Unless you've been seeing him for a while and everything seemed to be going well. Then of course you would want closure. Anything other then that, don't chase. You'll end up looking like a psycho and guys love to call girls psycho stalkers. Don't give the guy the opportunity for that.

Why don't any of you tell the OP its not a gender thing like you do when a man asks "Why do women do this?"
