Waste of online chat time

I finally actually got a response from a woman online, we actually had been chatting through the dating site chat system lately. I had asked for her # after a time, and she said she kind of wanted to wait a bit longer before moving to the phone. Said some women just have to be careful.

 

So we had been chatting throughout the weekend, and she said her experience with online so far is that feels she's in stiff competition with the taller more attractive women, she's Asian, and well, feels somewhat inferior to her local competition.

I found it kind of interesting, because with all the short guys who seem to be looked over due to being short, she was complaining of the same thing (but reverse gender roles)

 

She's 5'4".

 

Now, I was aware she had already viewed my profile already, and I said, "Yeah, same here, it seems some women have a strict height requirement" and she asks, "How tall are you?"

 

And thinking, "Hm, she already looked at my profile....thought she knew"

 

I told her I was 5'8" and she goes, "Oh, I usually only date men that are 6 feet or taller, my ex-husband is 6'2"

 

She said she just happened to forget what my height was, even though she had viewed my profile. I had to clarify if she was actually interested in still meeting, and she said she would not, but is open to chatting sometime.

 

I said, "Sorry, not here for a chat buddy, good luck to yoU"

 

But I found it ironic how she was complaining the guys wouldn't date her because she's short. lol

Man that really sucks. Sorry to hear that. Sometimes I wonder why girls don't display their height on the dating sites. Just wondering what that means when they hide it.

Kinda funny how she complains about being overlooked because of her height yet does the same to men. Oh, well.

 

Glad to see that you're not going to continue wasting your time chatting with her.
