irc333 Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Okay, ever been asked to be a "date" to some formal function, like a wedding, Christmas party, Policeman's Ball, some work related thing? Usually unattached find themselves scrambling to appear with someone at an event that's loaded with married or attached people, and they don't want to feel they're the ONLY one at the event that doesn't have a "date". Usually the question is, "I don't have a date to the wedding, would you like to join me?" Sounds more like an escort than a date. Anyone?
