Hi - this can sound childish but I do not know what to do now

This guy and I we go out sometimes in a casual way. Not very often but lately we use to talk a lot and we are supposed to go out on sunday night. He made the plans and for sure we will have sex ... BUT with five days in advance, i got my period !!

I had sex in the past having my period (and i never minded) but with this guy it could be embarrassing ... I was thinking about changing the date but he is going to think i do not really want to see him (which is so wrong) and of course i am not going to discuss this with him on the phone ... So what can i do ?

This so unfortunate !!

Tell him you're not having sex with him. If he's not someone you're comfortable enough to tell him you can't, he's not someone you should be having sex with.

Of course I can tell him i cannot but .. I want to !!! But i do not think he know each other enough to be comfortable in this situation. And if i wait until sunday he will be dissapointed (even if he says nothing) because let's face it, we see each other because we like to have sex together.

That's what's so funny about casual sex - you get naked and screw each other - but when it comes to "personal" issues - "we don't know each other well enough" - but you would have known him well enough to **** him.

I'm not saying this to mock you - I just find it funny how that is in general.

Now as to your problem:

1. When you talk to him tonight, mention how you have cramps cuz its that time of the month - just get over with and tell him.

2. Meet him on Sunday, hang out and when he initiates sex, you'll need to tell him then

Either way he will know.

so you think on what's the least awkward scenario for you.

Or, I guess, there's always option

3. Reschedule the whole get together.

Would he be disappointed if he came to see you and you didn't have sex because you had your period? If so, then maybe that should tell you that he's only seeing you to sleep with you anyways - do you want that?

I don't think this situation asks for you to play nice and consider his feelings. I mean, yes, you need to be considerate to cancel, but not so much that you need to baby him if he decides to start " whining".

Don't be afraid to tell him you're on your period. After all, it's our nature to have it, the best that you can do is tell him to stick to his hands for the next week or so.
