mich81 Posted May 29, 2004 Posted May 29, 2004 I'm just curious what other people’s experiences or opinions are on dreams. For as long as I can remember I have had a lot of déjà vu type moments, from things I am pretty sure I have dreamt in the past. I don't always remember my dreams but sometimes when things happen it just hits me. I never really thought about it until about 6 months ago when I had a horrible dream about my then boyfriend. At the time I didn't think anything of it but then a few weeks later I lived it. So ever since I have been curious, should I believe all my dreams or was this just a weird coincidence?

I've also had dreams that I was able to interpret later and understand what it was trying to tell me. I don't live my life by them but I find them interesting and tuck them in the back of my mind just in case. I used to have premonition poetry but that has subsided. I'd tap into it but I prefer not to know some things before they happen. One premonition dream had me fearful of driving because it was so real. I decided that what was going to happen, if it was supposed to happen, could not be avoided. So I drove. The premonition dream came true but what was I going to do, never drive again the rest of my life? Other dreams I've had I hope to God are not premonition dreams. I've started recording my dreams in case they do come true, if it bothers me when I wake up. I wouldn't run your life by them, but it doesn't hurt to wonder about them and tuck them away as interesting experiences. I think its great you want to talk to other people about it, you will be surprised what a variation there is in what people have experienced. This is only a glimpse at what I've seen/experienced because I don't care to "weird people out" which usually happens when they hear what has come along my way.
