Disenchantedly Yours Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Every woman will not be turned off by one guy's scent. But if you think cologne would give you confidence in that department, it couldn't hurt.
Author jobaba Posted December 9, 2011 Author Posted December 9, 2011 The I's have it. The cologne goes on. Since I have never had a woman come up to me and be attracted to me on the basis of my scent, I really don't have much fear of covering up my natural scent. Best vid I found on how to apply...
LittleTiger Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I think every man should wear cologne. I love a beautifully smelling man. And that man scent the ladies speak of is usually the mans deodorant. No, it isn't - my man smells his best when he's freshly washed - no cologne, no deodorant - the smell coming out of his pores is the scent we're talking about.
ShannonMI Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 So, anyway, I read the thread about "What women find irresistible." Most of it was garbage. Yea, all men know women want someone who is motivated, fit, funny, confident, tall. Right... But the scent... So, I have a few bottles of cologne that women have bought me that I have never worn because I think it's tacky. But if I can do something that costs me nothing that will help me with women, you better believe I'll f@cking do it. I also have a date tonight. So, women, what about cologne? Women are strongly attracted to scent right? (predicting the trainwreck of irony that will follow). Love, love, love a man who wears good cologne. And by good I mean department store scents. Brute and Old Spice ain't gonna cut it. A month or so ago I danced and kissed this man out who smelled delicious. I smelled like him when I went home. I loved it. It was such a turn on.
El Brujo Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 If you like the guy but you don't like the smell of his cologne, wear a freakin' clothespin on your snoot!
xpaperxcutx Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 If you like the guy but you don't like the smell of his cologne, wear a freakin' clothespin on your snoot! Suavitel has has some realy good fabric softener.... the scent of freshly washed clothes.
insertnamehere Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 To the OP: I recommend Burberry. If you're not sensitive to cologne smells, Burberry Brit seems to be a sex machine. If you're overly sensitive, try Burberry Summer, although it has a reputation for wearing off too quickly.
yume Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Personally, I love cologne. It's one of the sexiest things a man can wear provided it smells good (there's a Calvin Klein - I think "Obsession" - one that smells awful so that one's an exception). I love it, especially when touching hasn't really yet been established but you can tell they smell awesome from a close distance. Makes me want to grab him right then and there. So yummy. I think it shows a sort of elegance & care they took to groom themselves and smell good for you. Axe is for little boys and should not be used under any circumstances.
El Brujo Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 You've never smelled me after I've been planing boards all day. (the OTHER wood) I once worked with a guy who wore this cologne that smelled exactly like Philippine mahogany... and when African redwood is freshly cut, it smells like birthday cake hot from the oven. Still, it's a shame nobody makes a pine-scented cologne...
lululucy Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 A month or so ago I danced and kissed this man out who smelled delicious. I smelled like him when I went home. I loved it. It was such a turn on. oh godddd yeah. My shirt will smell like my boy when I get home and every time I smell it I feel like he's right there. Puts you right back in the moment. I disagree about the price thing though, he wears some like $30 stuff that I love. My ex wore Jean-Paul Gauthier which is probably my favourite (I picked it out for him but I'm mad now because the scent is ruined for me). Not only do you smell good when you wear it, but if a woman you're dating associates a specific scent with you, she'll think of you every time she smells it in public too. Keep you on her mind and all that.

Well, I love the scent of Axe on men. My husband uses it, and he's far from a little boy. It smells wonderful.
Jessica45 Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 I hate it. Hate it, hate it, hate it. I want to smell the MAN - not what comes out of a bottle. I am also über-sensitive to aromas and find many women's perfumes to be offensive - the worst of which is Calvin Klein's Obsession (for both men and women). THAT cologne smells like Deet bug repellent.^ THIS. I hate cologne and perfume. Most deodorants/shampoo/soap have a scent and that is plenty.
FitChick Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 The rule for both men and women regarding fragrance is "Less is more."

Putting it on was a very good idea. Thanks.
Disenchantedly Yours Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 I ate cajun talipia and shrimp over jasmine rice. I most certainly didn't throw it up.
