What is the time frame for a rebound? You going for someone else right after a breakup? Can the following scenario be considered a rebound: You have been broken up with someone for a year or 2 (still not over them) and haven't been with anyone else during that time frame.....Then you meet someone and start dating, but this is the first person you have been with post breakup and are still not over your ex. Is this still considered a rebound even though it is delayed?

I should hope that after a year or two of not dating you've has enough time to get over your ex.and heal.

I guess you could still condider it a rebound if your still not COMPLETELY over your ex.

It just comes down to whether or not you are ready to get into a new relationship. Everyone heals at their own rate so there is no defined time period which could be considered a rebound.

Sometimes finding someone new who is good for you can help you get over your ex too. If you haven't met anyone at all, thats why you're still reflecting on what you had then instead of what you could have now. Being a year or two post break up, you should try to date. There are good people out there :)
