If they have the baggy jeans, hat on backwards, and tatted up, starting trouble, acting like they don't give a f*** the women just swoon to them. I am not talking the fat nasty girls, I mean the hot women like you would see on tv. It just gets me every time I see it. I get my fair share but do I need to go to jail to get even more hot women? Ladies please explain this to me.

Young girls watch MTV/BET and they see guys who wrap their heads with napkins or nylons and wear pants so low they can literally sh*t while running from the cops and they think 'wow, this is what a real manly man is supposed to be like'. If you want someone to blame, blame feminists (who have taken over and corrupted our education system), stupid irresponsible parents, and an immoral government that allows filth like MTV and BET to be broadcasted to nationwide audiences. Ultimately, you need to blame the doped out, over-indulgent, selfish baby boomer generation that comprises by far the worst group of men and women who have ever lived. It depends on what it is. If he caught a drug charge or some petty stuff he would get eaten alive in state prison. It's one thing to be a tough guy in your own little safe neighborhood but it's a completely different world being locked up with hardened killers. When I was 14 I participated in the scared straight program and that let me know it was a place I never wanted to go. The prisoners themselves told us not to end up like them.

Oh and realize that just because those women chase thugs, doesn't mean they don't like a put together man either, when you're the thug type you generally only attract a certain group of women...however you can be the kind of guy that attracts women from all types, instead of one group. However, they are not at the top of the dating chain at all. They just do reasonably better than a lot of other guys because of said traits that make them attractive to women. The best thing we can do is look at them and identify what it is that they have that makes them so attractive, and see if we can augment our own character with those particular traits. In a healthy way of course.

This is true. The real bad boys don't look the part and do everything not to advertise that fact. If you look up some of the big time drug kingpins who called the shots they look like nerds. Also the ones who flash dress in expensive suits and not baggy pants. You never saw John Gotti wearing baggy pants and backwards hats.

I've been everything from a wigger, to a skateboarder, to an anarchist punk , to a full blown communist, to a skinhead. If you want to act or dress a certain way to get women, this is where I got my most women in order from most to least: 1) Wigger 2)Skateboarder 3) Punk 4) Communist 5) skinhead (very few women in this scene)

Look at Wall Street these days. Look at entertainment and sports. The men who end up at the very top of our hierarchy have a lot of personality traits in common with street level thugs. The super-wealthy of some of the most aggressive, clueless, inconsiderate dickheads you'll ever meet in your life. Now, I've always felt the bad boy thing is a case where evolution has not caught up with the present. Of course, a successful aggressive male displays all these signs. But, they're not hard to fake anymore, either. A thousand years ago, being a fake thug got you killed. These days people just assume you're a douchebag. To some extent, women that are attracted to aggressive men are buying a lottery ticket. If that aggression pays off, she gets a life of luxury. If not, she can always cast her line again and try for the next thug.

Yuppies and politicians, most of which were born into their position and never even learned how to hammer in a nail, would perish in 60 seconds or less in a darwinian scenario where their survival depended on their masculinity and aggression. The people with all the resources today are the ones who are best at cutting corners, not those with a will of iron or boldness. The type of "man" that snatches an old ladies purse or shakes his ass to big bank pimps in order to sell out the American people in Washington DC , is not aggressive, just someone whose taking the easy route and doesn't care about who gets hurt. Take a step back, and a cold shower, and now consider the personality of a woman who goes for these "thugs". Do you still find her attractive? Really?

Just look at how they cry and act like the victim when somebody fights back. My company is dealing with a scam artist like this and just look at how he cries and swears he is the victim now that we have him legally nailed to the wall. If things were to all of a sudden collapse in our society they would be up the creek.

I was siting the OP's description of a thug. I don't think the description necessarily makes someone a thug. Being a dirtbag who is constantly in trouble with the law and who treats women like dirt is more of a thug in my eyes then a dude who wears baggy jeans has some tats and a backward hat.
