Why do women just LOVE to go out "as friends"?

This is the only part I agree with. The rest is just playing games on women and thus being part of the same problem many complain about here.

Two wrongs don't make a right. I agree with having balls and backbone, but I don't condone playing games.

I'm not condoing gameplaying either. I'm just outlining what ends up happening as you men backslide into these faux relationships.

Since my guy was in one of them when he met me and he has disclosed the e-mails, texts, FB stuff, I can tell you what happened.

He met her; he wanted to date her; he took her to a couple of nice places (I know, because he took me there too later on).

She dissed him; whenever he asked when she was available, she would say, she didn't know, call her back. She gave him a late invitation to her b-day picnic last year, and then dissed him while he was there in front of other people.......

then he meets me, while she's texting up a storm to stay in touch. She claims that they are friends. He talks about me to her. They go out while I go away for a month. She keeps asking about me, so someone who is not careful will assume that she's all for you dating someone else. And then when I came back, he allowed her to take up his time.

She told him that she was doing online dating. Then she meets someone and starts asking my guy if he wants to try over again because it seems that the relationship between him and me isn't going anywhere. I'm still trying to figure what made him decide that she was going to be a very girlfriend for him.

Now imagine if he had tried one more time with her. I was steadily slipping away.

But then during the time that he was shoring up things with me, he kept talking about her as she was a friend. Funny though, he never pushed the issue of us meeting one another.

But I know that they did talk to contact each to talk about getting together and I decided to put an end to it. HE could either have me as a girlfriend and have one less friend or he could have two female friends. HE could not have one of each.

I suppose the timing was such that he knew he was happier with me. And also, she really ruined things by having her bf invite him to her 30th birthday the day of the event. And then she texted him at 11 pm asking (he showed me the text) "Why didn't you come?" Oh well, I said, she's looking for someone to close that bar tab (since he's done it before).

So this is what I mean by men keeping women around who claim to be friends but just really aren't. And really, it is the guy's decision whether to keep those charades around or not.
