But again, the orginal OP didn't really ask for men's opinions on a woman's body. Just if men liked lingerie or not.

That's true... However, if every guy simply chimed in with a "yes", "no" or "maybe" answer without quantifying his response, it would lead to a very short, very boring thread, don't you agree? ;)

I think it could have been a very nice playful discussion if it didn't have to be wrapped up in once again expectations on how women look. Women already get the message all the time about how "visual" men are and how much you need to be up to par with what men want to be considered a worthy enough partner. Everything always seems to circle about how visual men are and what women need to do to be what men want. And how women just need to except how men just want the hottest, youngest, tightest bodies. We get it. Why don't men start saying some other things about women for a change. We get it drilled into our head from puberty onward how much more vaulable our bodies are to men then anything else. It would be nice to see men mix up their comments with some real insight instead of the standard old tired messages women already know are true.

I hear what you're saying, and I whole-heartedly agree with you that having a hot body does not in-and-of-itself make for being a good partner. However, I think you're overcomplicating the original premise. We're talking about pure sexual attraction here, not whether or not someone possesses the MULTITUDE of traits that make for a good partner in a relationship.

Also, if you (which you extended your viewpoint as representative of "women" as a whole) know it to be true that men are visually driven, and that physical attraction is an important factor in choosing a mate, why complain about it? It's a fact of life that has always been around, and likely always will be. Both sexes will disqualify potential suitors based on lack of physical attraction. That's just how it is.

It's a thread about sexy underwear! Why would you expect anything other than opinions about women's bodies in sexy underwear here?

Anyway, Frisky mentioned body type in relation to lingerie on the first page, I believe, and I've seen many other posts where he values qualities in a woman over having a "perfect" body.

Do you wear a gimp mask when you write these genital torturing messages on your computer?

Am I torturing your genitals? ALREADY?? I haven't even gotten my hands on you yet, Wolfie.:p I'm just posting the truth. No panties for this girl.

So what?

Is it really so much to ask women not to be fat? It's the only physical standard most men have, and most American women can't even do that :lmao:

You think women like men with high paying jobs for their "ambition" like some girls on here say ? You think women like men with abercrombie and fitch bodies because it shows dedication and will? You think women like famous people for their "confidence"?

Women aint any different. I'm not going to sit here and argue that men want women to be physically active just for their health, but you better concede that women do it too.

True dat. Women care just as much about physically appearance as men do. Let's not lie ladies. You want to date a sculpted or at least trim 170 pounder or a flabby 300 pounder? 95% of you are gonna go for the trimmer guy and there is nothing wrong with that.

I won't date someone who's obese. I believe I've said this before and been ripped for it.

Sorry but I don't want to have to lift up a guy's belly to find his dick. :p

Exactly!!! Hahahahahaha love that:lmao:

I don't need to date a f*cking male model, but someone that is trim is always good and NOT unreasonable in the least. Someone who is obese just comes across as a bit lazy and/or they don't give a sh*t about themselves. I'm not down with that. And I'm no chubby chaser.:p

The original premise was simply if men liked lingerie or not. Not what men thought about women's bodies and who needs to work out and who doesn't.

Bringing that into the mix was a step further then what the OP had orginally intended.

I asked this question an dozen times and not one man has answered it. If a man was already at the stage of getting naked with a woman, in most cases, excluded one night stands, isn't he attracted to her already? So why would suggestions from men about how women need to work on their bodies be condusive to answering the OP's original question? Can you answer that T man?

Again, I will repeat, if there was a thread on here where women were repeatidly telling men over and over again that they need to make more money and what they can do to make more money to make them more attractive to women, I know the guys here would take issue. But women don't run around telling men to "work longer hours" and do x, y and z so you can have enough money to be sexy to me.

Also, if you (which you extended your viewpoint as representative of "women" as a whole) know it to be true that men are visually driven, and that physical attraction is an important factor in choosing a mate, why complain about it? Why do you insinuate that my comments are mearly compliants? Considering that exact reason, how important looks are to men, it's an issue women have to deal with everyday of their lives. So I would think that men would at least care to understand women better and want to relate to them instead of having the attitude of "men like hot women, shut up and deal.".

This is interesting, I thought women only did this in the movies :p

What are the advantages of not wearing underwear? As a male, not wearing underwear is playing russian roulette every time you zip and unzip at the urinal :lmao:

I normally date men that are in shape, but have a little bit of a belly. I never minded as long as they took care of themselves.

I'm currently lucky enough to be with a body builder and his body is f'n slammin. But I also realize it's not the "norm". I was never into big muscle men until him...he may have spoiled me.

Yeah most women think body builders are "gross"... until one actually acknowledges/talks to them :lmao:

It makes me laugh when people say women think exagerrated builds are ugly. When I was 17 and still into body building I was at the beach with some friends and when I was walking down the street shirtless to take a wizz , a car full of attractive women that had to be in their 20's was driving past me slowly trying to talk me into getting into their car, LOL.

It's unbelievable the amount of attention you get from women, married, single , with boyfriends, ****, even NUNS give you two takes.

I don't know. What's the point in wearing them? It's just another layer. There are no advantages or disadvantages to not wearing them. I don't have a boyfriend right now so there is no one to appreciate my Vicki's Secret thong.

Zipping your trouser snake is BAD!!! All I can think of is Something About Mary:lmao: OUCH!!!

The roided out guys are gross, Wolfie. I worked at a gym for 4 years and there were plenty of roid heads. They talked to me all the time. They were NOT a turn on at all. Plus their balls are the size of raisins and a lot of them have body acne and are aggressive. Not my thing.

Now give me a guy with nice sized biceps, abs and a tight ass, and I'm all about it.

Yeah , I've been tempted but always stayed away from steroids out of fear for the hormonal problems it can eventually bring. I don't see the point of being a monster chickmagnet in your 20's when by the time you hit 30 you've got manboobs and a Tiny Tim voice.

I didn't know women liked asses, I always get compliments and butch-dyke female police officers love to pinch my booty, I GOT JUNK IN DA TRUNK

OMG a tight ass is hot, Wolfie. I'll bite and slap yours all night long;)

Yeah steroids are bad. Yes, you'll look like Arnold, but the side effects aren't worth it.

I don't see comments about what women should do with their bodies from men any different then comments what men should do with their money from women. And we know how well those comments are received around here. Lets not pretend that suggestions about health and fitness for women from men is about men caring about their real health. That's all I'm saying.

very well said.

I just thought body building guys looked hard, and I was always scared of the roid rage. My guy isn't on anything tho and I like that. He's gotten me 2 compliments the last 2 days in a row at the gym tho. One was a lady who said she was impressed at how much weight I put up on the chest press, the other was a guy who told me I was "strong as hell" after doing lat pull downs.

I'm not the thinnest girl, or the most cut...but I'm strong as fawk and I owe it all to him. Best thing a man has ever given me is a strong body at the gym.

When I was 17 and still into body building...

Body building at such a young age is not a good idea. Your body doesn't stop growing until you are about 20 or so...lifting heavy weights at a young age will stump your growth.

Of course I notice it... More often than not, I'm the one who bought it!

Not surprising at all to see yet another topic taken away from the original discussion by the usual suspect.
