Oxy Moronovich Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 New Year's is less than 4 weeks away. What is everyone's New Year's Resolution for dating? Here's some of mine: 1. I'm going to stop judging women so much on looks and more on personality. If she isn't a hottie, but still attractive, I won't consider it lowering my standards. I'll call it "broadening my horizons." 2. I will approach at least 20 women per week for a date. 3. I'm 27. I will go on a cougar cruise and see what it's like before I'm too old for it. 4. As a childless dude, I should not be getting into a serious relationship with a woman with kids. From now on, no more. 5. I am convinced women want men to tell them what to do. Therefore, I will not feel guilty for being manipulative.

I'll call it "broadening my horizons." This makes sense. If she's attractive (to you) then, by definition, you're attracted to her. That should be good enough, even if she isn't your idea of perfection.
oaks Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I think my 'dating' resolution would be something like "don't make the mistakes of previous relationships with my current girlfriend. specifically: adopt and maintain a more open communication style and encourage the same"
Author Oxy Moronovich Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 Wrong!!! Women will think your controlling. Take it from me, I've been married. Are you sure she just wasn't giving you an excuse to end the marriage? Women give tons of bs excuses and lies to end marriages. Besides, I'd say women are more willing to stay with a manipulative man than one who lets her decide for herself. I think my 'dating' resolution would be something like "don't make the mistakes of previous relationships with my current girlfriend. specifically: adopt and maintain a more open communication style and encourage the same" More people need to have this resolution. Communication is the key. However, most people seem to rely on asking advice for anonymous people on the internet than talking to their lover.
