thr1986 Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Me: I'm a 25 year old young professional living in Denver. I met a girl last wednesday, we talked a lot and really hit it off i think. Friday i hung out with her and a group of people, she ended up sleeping over friday night but we did not "sleep together" just kissing ect. Saturday I went skiing with her and a group of people. Then sunday she came over and we watched a movie, did the whole snuggle thing and kissed ect. then she had to go babysit at 6 so she went and did that. I really like this girl and dont want to mess it up.. New developments: Monday morning I texted her after I got to work (around 9) telling her I hope she had fun babysitting and wishing her a happy day at work. She answered basically saying thanks and same to me. Then monday night I texted her again asking if she got an interview she was going to find out about and she got it so i congratulated her, ect. Today I have not contacted her as I felt that I did too much yesterday. I know that we will be attending the same concert on friday as we talked about it last weekend. How should I go about contacting her/asking her to hang out. I really like her and my gut tells me to contact her because quite frankly i'd love to see her but this week so far it seems that I contact her, she answers and she really does not make any effort outside of answering me to contact me and ask how my day was ect.... I know im blabbing haha. But shes the first girl i have liked like this in a while and for some reason shes got me in a funk...
soulm8 Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I'm excited for you! Give it a day or so, and if you really can't wait... try to only send her something that doesn't require a reply (but is short and sweet). That way... if she does reply... she's really liking you!
Author thr1986 Posted December 7, 2011 Author Posted December 7, 2011 something that does not require a reply...like what?
soulm8 Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I thought you might ask! These don't require a reply (they're not questions), but if she replies... then she's looking for an excuse to talk to you (too): - Just a smiley face - Something funny - Something interesting - Something that made you think of her - Something that made you laugh or smile - Something to do with a conversation you've had that she wouldn't expect you to have remembered, but only if it's kinda funny or cute
dasein Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Stop the texting and call her on the phone. Say, "hey, I'm going to the concert, want to hang out?" Limit contact to asking out. If she says "no," send her a picture of your pecker with a frowny face in magic marker on the tip.
