Oxy Moronovich Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 So I met this cutie named Marla in November of 2010. She kinda looks like Kristen Stewart. She was the friend of my buddy Rick's then current gf. At first, since she lived in Orlando, and I lived in Tampa, it wasn't serious because it was around 2 hours long distance. Then in February we became exclusive. I didn't have huge feelings for her though. She did for me. She dropped a bomb on me one day in May. We had just come out of a movie theater and she was holding my arm and leaning on me. She was talking real sweet. She said she had such strong feelings for me that she was sure it was love. She asked if I loved her back and I said I had strong feelings too. I just didn't know if it was love. Then she went on and on about how she really liked me. She said I was too distant. She wanted to know if she did anything to turn her off. She hadn't. I told her this. So she left it at that. We still stayed together, but I never expressed love to her. I just didn't feel it. In July, I made the decision to move to Austin, TX. I never told her anything about it. I planned on telling her a week or two before I left for Texas. But I never did. I just packed all my gear into my truck and drove to Austin. At first, I kept off telling her about my move for days, then it turned to weeks. Rick called me a few weeks into August of 2011. Rick: "Dude, Marla keeps coming around here and wanting to know what happened to you. Didn't you tell her you were moving to Austin?" Me: "Naw dude, I didn't tell her." Rick: "What? Are you running from her?" Me: "No, I just kept putting off telling her. I'll call her and tell her about it." But I never did call her. I basically just disappeared. I haven't spoken to her since July. I'm going to be visiting Tampa in January. I might even be moving back there. I talked to Rick about it today. While we were talking, he said he mentioned it to his gf and she told Marla. He said Marla wants to see me. She wants to get some things off her chest. I'm thinking she wants to curse me out. I doubt she wants to get back into a relationship. Besides, it would be difficult to do right now cuz I got a new gf. My question: should I go and talk to Marla? Or should I avoid it? I don't know what I have to gain by letting her "get some things off her chest". So I'm thinking about not seeing her. However, should I be the nice guy and see her? What do you anonymous people think?

Cypress25 Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Why don't you just get "Spineless Coward" tattooed on your forehead so you won't be able to fool anyone else? You have a lot of growing up to do. Even if everyone on this forum told you to go see Marla, you still wouldn't do it. You're not interested in doing the right thing, you're interested in taking the easy way out. Just keep running away and hope karma doesn't catch up to you.

Author Oxy Moronovich Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 I'd tell Rick about your new gf so that his gf will tell Marla Sounds like a plan. Why don't you just get "Spineless Coward" tattooed on your forehead so you won't be able to fool anyone else? You have a lot of growing up to do. Even if everyone on this forum told you to go see Marla, you still wouldn't do it. You're not interested in doing the right thing, you're interested in taking the easy way out. Just keep running away and hope karma doesn't catch up to you. First off, it's possible I would go see Marla if someone can use concise reasoning to persuade me, rather than getting down my throat. Secondly, thousands of posters create threads asking for questions they already know the answer to. Quit acting like I'm the only one who has ever done this. Lastly, your definition of karma is incorrect. Your definition of karma is that good or bad deeds will return to you. Wrong. Here are the 4 definitions of karma: noun 1. Hinduism, Buddhism . action, seen as bringing upon oneself inevitable results, good or bad, either in this life or in a reincarnation: in Hinduism one of the means of reaching Brahman. Compare bhakti ( def. 1 ) , jnana. 2. Theosophy . the cosmic principle according to which each person is rewarded or punished in one incarnation according to that person's deeds in the previous incarnation. 3. fate; destiny. Synonyms: predestination, predetermination, lot, kismet. 4. the good or bad emanations felt to be generated by someone or something: Lets get out of here. This place has bad karma.
