Oh yes, the "Coolidge Effect"...

http://www.heretical.com/wilson/coolidge.html

In the case of Tiger Woods, I think his "sexual desires" were too deeply rooted for there to have been any other outcome. He confessed to sleeping with 120 women while married. Clearly, his desire for sex overruled common sense.

I think he cheated on her before they were married. Why she still chose to walk down the aisle with him, who knows... That is known as "stupid woman syndrome". She should take some of the money won from the divorce settlement, and open several sexual addiction clinics free of charge to the public.

As I understand it, she never wanted to date him but her employer and friends talked her into it. They probably wanted access to Tiger. She was young, innocent and foolish but now she is wise, rich and still beautiful! :bunny:

Nature dictates that men desire quantity while women desire quality.

A woman who wishes for a wealthy man should be prepared for high risk of infidelity from him while a man who wishes for a gorgeous woman should be prepared for high risk of gold diggery from her. Sometimes life is fair.

Any woman who is with a highly desirable man should know that the potential for him cheating is very high.

But nope, all women want the best.

Paul Newman was incredibly handsome and he never cheated (as far as is known). He also seemed to have a very likeable and nice personality.

Man: "Men tend to be taller than women."

Woman: "Mini-me is a man but he is very short."

Man: "What a dumb broad ..."

And how does that say explain that what I wrote is invalid?

Because they are idiots.

It's because the CAN (and they're idiots). I think if you come from humble beginnings and achieve such great wealth while you're young and have vitality, you ought to respect society's conventions. You can run around and screw every hot babe who wants it and nobody will give you a hard time but if you get married, you need to damn well understand what that means in the big picture of things. The fame and fortune comes at a price of anonymity and frankly I don't think that's so much to pay to acknowledge that you've made commitments in public and everyone will be all over you if you show a weakness in your character. Some athletes privately think that knocking the bottoms out of dozens of chicks while your married makes you look strong but it's the opposite in the eye of the public. You're a weasel who fortune smiled upon but still a weasel.

"I became a big shot and married some Hollywood actress and didn't talk to anybody anymore, so I feel bad," James said, via Us Weekly, in the beginning of the episode while apologizing to his fans for dropping off the map. "I feel obligated to reconnect with all these people and show 'em that I'm still the same fabricator motorcycle guy. I'm not what I became."

That 'some Hollywood actress' was Sandra Bullock who, according to Vanity magazine, earned 22 million in 2010.

At both ends of the spectrum, the commonality is apparently 'male' ;)

Then again, these guys aren't laying down with themselves. Everyone is making choices, and, in the case of high profile celebrities, there is no ambiguity about what's going on. It's not like Tiger/Jesse had 'broken up' or anything. Then, apparently, Jesse goes and does it (cheats) again on his subsequent fiance.

IMO, too much spare the rod and spoil the child and too many airbags. Darwin has been thwarted. High self esteem and little humility and few consequences.

Why do so many guys do this?? They have a gorgeous woman and they claim how much they adore them and sometimes even have kids with them and they run around behind their backs. It has happened so much in the news lately and it just isn't in the news I have seen it happen to my neighbors again gorgeous woman and the man is going behind the wife's back and she doesn't have a clue she just finds out until it is too late. What makes men have the Tiger Woods Syndrome?? Is it because they want their cake and eat it too??? Shouldn't they be happy with what they have?? Or is it because it is how they were brought up or perhaps low self-esteem and want to see if they still got it?

Instead of ranting about men exercising their options why not focus on the scum bucket women who threw themselves at Tiger Woods? These gals knew he was married, heck one of them was boffing him in the marital home!

LOL! So you want a guy that looks like Paul Newman whose going to be with you forever?

When you find him, I'll give you a green dog as a wedding gift.

If you don't want a guy with Tiger Woods syndrome, then stop chasing Tiger Woods (and other rich guys).

If you go after the wealthiest and best looking males that everyone wants, you have no right to complain. Shutup and join the harem, or date the millions of guys you will overlook for little reasons throughout your life, but don't complain.

Why do these guys go after the best looking women? Don't they know they will get bored and want to cheat? Why don't they stay single if they want a harem?

Women would rather play the 1,000,000 to 1 odds of a guy with Tiger woods' wealth being loyal, over dating someone whose in their league.

Tiger Woods is no idiot, he simply has no good reason to be loyal. Do you think Elen Nordgren would be with him if he didn't have the Nike swoosh branded onto his ass cheek?

Just another example of a woman with expensive tastes but no money, so she used her vagina to realize them. Are we allowed to use the W word for her?

There is a breed of person who gains high success. They tend to be risk takers and rarely satisfied with "enough".

If you want a partner who appreciates what he has, and is easily satisfied, look for those qualities. A high achiever may not be the best pick.

Wasn't Joanne Woodward his mistress before she was his wife?

There are some rumors of his infidelities while married to her.

And, isn't she engaged to a billionare?

One potential is the 'Tiger Woods Corporation' has more credibility and social acceptance if there is a 'Mrs' and a baby or two bouncing on his knee for those media sound bite opportunities.

Many U.S citizens may be aware we've only had one unmarried president, that being our fifteenth, James Buchanan. Is that a coincidence? I don't think so. How many Presidents were unfaithful to their wives ;)

Ahhhhh I'd take Paul Newman when he was 70. The man was gorgeous even in his twilight years.

While I respected and admired Paul as a fellow racer and accomplished philanthropist, I had no illusions about his potentials, though IME he always presented himself as a gentleman in public. I'll just say Joanne was and is a strong woman, IMO. I've met a few such women like her in life and it takes that kind of strength to handle some men.

TBH, until things blew up in his face, Tiger Woods appeared to be on his way to a very similar public perception. People loved him for his philanthropy and personable and gentlemanly demeanor as much as for his golf swing and successes on the links.

Demi Moore was in the same league as Ashton Kutcher both actors and he strayed she was hardly a gold digger. I guess Ashton would fall into the cheating category as opposed to the Tiger Woods syndrome. Some men just like to stray I suppose and the woman sometimes puts up with it for so long like Demi and finally says enough is enough. I mean how much BS can you take before it is too much? My sister went through a case of cheating last year her husband promised he would change after she found him cheating and he did for awhile stopped cold turkey and then once again he went back to his dirty ways and was hooking up with one of his co-workers and enough was enough she left him for good. Once a cheater always a cheater!

Paul was a gentleman. He could have had any woman in the world if he had wanted to, but was faithful to his wife for years. At least it appeared that way.

Tiger on the other hand is a piece of garbage. His wife was another strong woman. She never publicly bashed him. Well besides beating him with a nine iron as some reports have stated. She held her head high and took care of her two children after the sh*t hit the fan. Gotta respect that.

Ashton is also a lot younger then Demi. While Demi looked incredible for an older woman, Ashton was young and probably wanted a younger woman. Like the chicks he screwed were all in their 20's were they not? Not in their 40's and 50's like his wife.

Demi Moore is not in the same league as Ashton Kutcher romantically.

Kutcher is a dimwit, but still a beautiful man in his prime. Demi Moore is attractive herself, but she's over the hill with kids and more baggage than the airplane she's taking to her next plastic surgery self-esteem boost.

If you want to live the glamorous and "pretty-thing" centered life of Hollyweird, you're going to subjected to the same standards as everyone else. She's lucky this Kutcher was with her for as long as he was, once the little manwhore got his publicity boost he bailed. The End.

Yeah ditto. More baggage then LAX airport!!!!!!!!!

Ashton is hot, but he should have divorced Demi before he started boning the 20 something whores. Oh well. He's a tool bag and Demi is a queen.

I don't know if the cheating allegations regarding Ashton Kutcher are true, I heard they broke up because Ashton was Twittering too much about their private life and that Demi at some point had it with his immature Twitter behavior.

But if he did cheat, then my theory is as follows:

Ashton Kutcher strikes me a bit as some of the players I know. My theory is that he fell in love with Demi Moore and thought that that love was enough to shed his "old ways", but at some point his craving for a variety of p*ssy overruled his love for Demi.

I have yet to see a woman who can keep a player in check. Some of the ones I know have had hundreds of women, so I don't know why miss #351 thinks she CAN change such a man. It's a cliche, lots of women think they can change these type of men, but personally I've yet to see an actual example of it.

Well that's just stupid. She was the one posting semi nude pics of herself on Twitter. I read in People Magazine that she dumped him because of the cheating allegations amongst other things. Who knows what's true and what isn't. I personally couldn't care less. They are two people I don't know and wouldn't really care to know. Although Demi is beautiful and a good actress, she seems really vain.

Maybe it was Ashton posting those nude pics of her under her account. I'd say that would pass as immature Twitter behavior.
