LostJustLost Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Since I found LS, I have followed the advice on many threads, including NC with the exception of Facebook. I don't say anything, but when its quiet, when those feelings of emptiness, loss, shattered dreams and the threat of tears come to suffocate me, I would go to his wall. Tonight, for those reasons I decided to see if he had posted so I knew he was ok. I saw this and I know it was meant for me: "When people walk away from you... Let them go..... Your destiny is never tied to anyone who leaves you, and it doesn't mean they are bad people. It just means that their part in the story is over." I am not crying. I felt that stab in my gut, but was able to shake it off, remembering the things I've read here and whisper it's ok, let him go. Maybe, finally, I really am moving past the pain. ~L
