tomm Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 man i feel so i guess odd/weird even .i just don't even know what i want anymore or even if i want anything . was in a good relationship exclusive for 4 yrs knew her for about a yr or two prior. we said it was true ''love'' then one day she just leaves me no explination etc. afterwards she says it's not me it's her, she's confused,loves me but not in love with me anymore [ like theirs a switch you can turn on and off ]we didn't fight or argue .find out she's with someone else now .YET when we last spoke she says we're ''friends'' .i told her i don't feel like we are . it's been about 7 months now since i was ''dumpped'' and i stil feel like i'm in a fog all confused . i've been out with friends -though i left a little while later .i've been talking to people about my situation -they can't answer me [no one can except my ex] so i'm just like all confused here and it being the holiday season sure doesn't help at all . and yea we are in the ''no contact''

She probably emotionally checked out of the relationship before actually dumping you,, mine did. She lost her attraction to you and or got bored in the relationship and is looking for some excitement. Being friends is almost impossible at this time,don't fall for it or try,it will only set you back. Write her off,stay in no contact!!!!!!!!
thepedestrian Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Why are you staying in touch with her? Do you actually want to be friends with her? Or is it because you hope being friends with her will remind her why she fell in love with you and she'll romantically come running back to you?
M2155 Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 It's not odd, you're just trying to make sense of something that you never will be able to. The answers aren't going to change much for you, you have to let go and focus on figuring out what Tomm wants, not why Tomm's ex did what she did. Eventually you will have to give up on looking for an explanation and trust your heart that someone who leaves you is not the right person for you.
Author tomm Posted December 4, 2011 Author Posted December 4, 2011 no we're not keeping in touch we are in that ''no contact '' she called me a while ago because her dad died and i sent a card toher and her family .she thanked me for the card said they appreciated it [ i knew the dad and knew he was ill he was cool to me ] when she started talking about us being ''friends'' i told her i don't feel it [ hey a ''friend'' wouldn't do what she did ] and that was it just said goodbye
