I have been seeing this guy for a little over a month now. We have the same group of friends, go to the same school, and have known each other for quite some time. After a few weeks of seeing each other, we had the "talk" about what each of us wanted. While we aren't jumping into something serious right away, we do consider ourselves exclusive, as in we aren't seeing other people, every one knows we're together, etc.

We talk daily, whether it be texting or calling, and we see each other around campus and what not. Well this past week he made all these comments about how excited he was to see me (the week before last we were on holiday) and how we needed to hang out. I asked him twice that week if he wanted to do something and both times he had to study. Whatever, that's fine..I figured the weekend would be better anyways. So Friday rolls around and I was thinking he was going to make plans with me. He never did, but instead asked me to take he and his friend to town so they could grab some food (he doesn't have a car, because he's an international student). Two things about that made me mad:

1) Going to town isn't a short drive and he knew I had already been there and back, because I told him before I left school. He should have asked to go as I was leaving campus

2) I enjoy cooking and invited him over that evening to eat with me, but both dishes I was going to make he claimed he didn't like.

It just seemed very rude to me. It's okay that he didn't like what I was making, that's fine. It just upset me that after knowing I had already been there and back and was in the process of cooking, he still asked me to drive him and his friend.

That was Friday. On Saturday he asked me to hang out with him that night. He said he may be doing something with his friends, but he will let me know as soon as he knows his plans so we can do something. 11:30 pm rolls around and I hadn't heard anything. So, I asked him if he decided to stay out longer than he thought and all he said back was "Yeah, I'm just drinking with some friends in my room." Okay? Because I hadn't been waiting around or anything. So, I just went to sleep. I woke up this morning and had a text from him at 3 am asking me if I was still awake and if I wanted him to come over. Idiot.

I have just done so much for him. I've him borrow my car twice, borrow stuff for class, invited him to dinner, etc. and I've gotten nothing in return. I have only asked one favor from him and that was to come check my heater, because it doesn't work that well. Each time I've asked he says okay, but then later on "forgets". It is early in the relationship, so I'm glad I figured it now rather than later, but it does suck. My question is, how should I confront him? I'm wanting to end it. I'm just not going to wait around for someone who breaks plans, I just don't think that's fair..especially this early in the relationship. Thoughts?

I think you shouldn't confront him. Just keep doing you. Say no when he asks you to hang out, and when he asks you why? Just tell him exactly what you said. I don't think he is the right fit for you. If a man is into you they put much more effort into the relationship, and he clearly, is not doing that.
