I broke up with a guy after one year because of his ex-girlfriend. She kept "showing up" by him and his family. I believe he wanted nothing to do with her, but I still broke up with him because I did not want to deal with it.

 

Would you put up with that? They had no children together or anything. I refused to accept the fact that his ex-girlfriend was still hanging around.

Tough one. My ex. dumped me for her ex. but that doesn't mean this will happen in your case.

 

Talk to him about your concerns,, if she hanging around him to much then that could be a real problem.If you believe he's over her and he want's nothing to do with her you may of made a mistake.

 

I wouldn't like the idea of an ex. hanging around an ex. and he needs to make a choice.

You probably saved yourself some heartache. Either he will decide he does want to be with her or he will realize she is a pest intereferring with his relationship. I would feel so disrespectful actively going after a taken man, regardles of our history. But if I were in his shoes, I would also respect you more for refusing to stay in a situation that made you uneasy and do what I needed to do to put her back in the past.

 

At the end of the day, it's usually never wrong to go with your gut. I hope she is just a psycho though...well, not too psycho, you definitely don't want that either.
