numbandlost Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Been doin NC after the break up. and here he goes again messaging me out of the blue. his first text was: saying.. 2:15 pm- how you've been? 2:17 pm- I've got a new gf 2:30 pm- can we be friends?let me know i guess.. (i seriously don't get him. why the hell would he mention that he has a new gf and still wants to be friends with me??)ugh i've been having issues with my ex bf for almost 1 year now, he comes in and out of my life and has often told me he misses me, loves me but I cant trust him anymore after he cheated on me with his ex.We broke up a lot of times (due to me having trust issues) I often find myself getting pissed with him cuz he says all of these things to me but always ends up with other girls, whenever I tell him that I wanna move on with my life, he seems to try anything to not let me go. It's been hell of a roller coaster ride. I still have feelings for him but feels like he can't be trusted and at this point I really don't know what to do. should i be friends with him and text him back or continue with nc??god i'm so depressed..
Casablanca Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 If just stay away, I dont know exactly what game he is playing, but he had no reason to say "i have a new gf", just not polite and very inconsiderate. He either wants to show he has moved on and has something "better" or wants you to know you've been replaced or something. He sounds very immature in that sense and I would just never talk with him again. Sometimes it is just best to not be friends with an ex afterwards

Get off the roller coaster,break up with him,go into N.C.,don't contact him ,don't reply to any of his calls,texts etc. You don't need this. The best prediction of future behavior is past behavior.

Author numbandlost Posted November 28, 2011 Author Posted November 28, 2011 so true he's so immature for his age (turning 24 next month) and im 22. been trying to move on but its so hard..i even tried dating other guys but seems like its not working. he even told me one time "i bet other guys wont take you seriously, you'll never find the right guy too" pffft like what the hell!
