melissagymnast1 Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 i am a senior in high school and my boyfriend is a junior in high school. we are sexually active and have sex maybe two times a week. it can happen either at his house or at my house or at other places. similarly, many of my friends are sexually active too (i'm not worried about this part, all of us practice safe sex). here is my question... about three weeks ago my bf and his friends downloaded an app from the android marketplace called gotlaid. the app allows them to enter each time we have sex, and it sms's his group of friends. it also keeps a score and a newsfeed so all the boys get to see who's sleeping with who and how often. at first i was really offended by this, but now it actually kind of turns me on. is this wrong? i feel a little weird about it, but i check his phone pretending to be upset about it, but really i just want to know if the other girls are doing it more than me.
Elysian Powder Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 you are a senior. 18yo? the kid is a junior in HS. 15yo? you are basically raping him. The phrase statutory rape is a term used in some legal jurisdictions to describe sexual activities where one participant is below the age required to legally consent to the behavior.[1] Although it usually refers to adults engaging in sex with minors under the age of consent,[1] it is a generic term, and very few jurisdictions use the actual term "statutory rape" in the language of statutes.[2] Different jurisdictions use many different statutory terms for the crime, such as "sexual assault," "rape of a child," "corruption of a minor," "carnal knowledge of a minor," "unlawful carnal knowledge", or simply "carnal knowledge." Statutory rape differs from forcible rape in that overt force or threat need not be present. The laws presume coercion, because a minor or mentally challenged adult is legally incapable of giving consent to the act. The term statutory rape generally refers to sex between an adult and a sexually mature minor past the age of puberty. Sexual relations with a prepubescent child, generically called "child molestation," is typically treated as a more serious crime. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statutory_rape In the past, sex involving an adult female and an underage male was often ignored by the law, and was often interpreted as a sexual initiation for the younger male.[dubious – discuss][12] However, in recent years in some countries social perceptions have shifted,[dubious – discuss][citation needed] in part because mental health experts have noted that such sexual encounters can often be characterized as abusive, resulting in serious, long-term problems for the boys involved. Additionally, controversial were cases when the adult female is in a position of responsibility over the boy, and there have now been a number of high profile cases (Mary Kay Letourneau, Debra Lafave, Pamela Rogers Turner), in which adult females have been prosecuted for participating in sexual relationships with male minors. Under English and Scottish common law, such cases would be viewed as indecent assault and some cases have been prosecuted.[13][14] Don't worry. Female Prisons aren't that bad .
Elysian Powder Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 A highschool junior is 11th grade, could be 17-18 and no..she's not raping him, even if he's 17 and she's 18....Paaaleezzzeee. It's not rape because you say so? you'd be singing another song if she was 15yo and your daughter .
Nexus One Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Are you a mobile app developer and is this your marketing strategy?

Citizen Erased Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 I'm still LMAOing here!.... Think about it....he is most likely 17 and her 18....they both are in highschool and he is probably the one that initiated sex in the first place..... And you call out rape and even post something about having fun in prison? LMFAO!!! If she is 18, and the age of consent in her state is 18, then yes in the eyes of the law it is rape, he would be under the age of consent. It may seem stupid, but it's the law. You can't dismiss laws just because you think they are stupid. As for the actual OP, sex is many things, but it's really sad if the only use you have for it is for bragging rights to a group.
grkBoy Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 I always say it's "wrong" if at least one side of the relationship has an issue with it. If you're turned on by this, and he wants to do this...then how is it wrong? It's like couples who have sex on webcams because they like being watched.
D86 Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Elysian Powder you are crazy and you need mental help. A senior and a junior are 1 year apart you idiot.
