And not from my ex-boyfriend, but from another man ! I must sound silly I know, but I was caught off guard and found myself in a lovey dovey flirty situation. We are long distance colleagues and we had to finish some work. And there was this tension in the air. It's not like I'm gonna date him or so, it's just that I felt alive after such a long icy time and that I was finally opening myself up for someone else. My ex-bf who... ???

melodymatters Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Good for you sweetie ! When I buried my then 24 yr old husband I walked an emotional desert for 2.5 yrs. I accepted that I had loved and lost and that was it. I met someone at work who rocked my world, and we are best friends/spouses/lovers/ and business partners. NO ONE was more surprised than I ?!? The fact that you can feel that magical feeling again is proof that your heart IS alive, and someone WILL come along and make it whole again. One of our long time members : Artcritic, has a sig line that says something like " One day someone will walk into your life and you will realize why it never worked with anyone else". Live it, Believe it, and stay happy !!!!
