lululucy Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 By the way, why does Canada have no contact stripclubs but prostitution is legal there? It's against the rules to touch a stripper but legal to have sex with a prostitute? I see the Canucks have some stupid laws like they do in the States. The actual act of prostitution is not illegal on either side. It's complicated, they can charge you for communicating for services, procuring services, using or owning a brothel.. essentially everything surrounding prostitution is illegal except for the act itself. As for lap dances, from my experience it's the stripper can touch you but you can't touch the stripper.
Oxy Moronovich Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Who is right here, lucy or the geiko? Two both different answers.
Imageiko Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 There is definitely contact at some strip clubs in montreal, at least there was for me when I was there last. That was 5 years ago though. I don't think that's the same across the rest of the country though. As for prostitution I guess lucy could be right about the prostitution thing. But to me if a bunch of the steps to get a prostitute are illegal seems like prostitution is really illegal...

A few friends have mine have gotten -full- contact wink wink actually at Montreal strip clubs for some extra cash. I'm in the Prairies so I'm not sure what the exact differences are there but a lot of Quebec laws are different than the rest of the country.
