Hey guys,

I am curious on how you guys clearly establish dates with girls. When asking a girl out, do you guys specifically mention something along the lines of, I'm taking you out only because I'm interested in you as a partner and not as a friend, or you just ask a girl out to meet her without her knowing your intentions (that is if you are interested in her)?

Example of not showing intention: "Hey XYZ I'm gonna be in the area on x-day and was wondering if you wanted to get some dinner?"

Compared to: "Hey XYZ you're really fun to be around with and I'd love to take you out to dinner on x-day next week."

So how clear do you guys establish meet-ups as "dates" with girls you're potentially interested in?

Thanks

I'm in the middle.

For an actual first date, I always ask in person, usually something like.

Hey, do you have anything planed for Friday night? I want to go see blank, and I wanted to know if you wanted to have dinner with me and see it?

If a woman asks me to do something I ask if it's a date.

Now, if they have been flirty with me & say no it isn't a date then I assume attention whore & tell them i'm not interested (unless they are asking me to do something I want to do) & tell them to call me when they want to go on a date.

If it's me asking, I never ask women to "hang out" & I specifically tell them it's a date.

I'm at the point where I just don't want to waste time on women who don't want to date.

Reading both of your examples - they seem the same. They don't really clarify intent. If I were you, for a date, I would ask them out on a Fri or Sat. For a meetup, I would say: "Let's go grab a friendly bite to eat amongst friends, you are a lot of fun."
