I've picked her up from her place, taken her to her place, etc but she won't let me come up. She said the reason is because her place is very small and kinda messy and she wants to clean up before I come over. My lease is ending for my place and she's letting me keep my stuff at her place (have to go on interviews for residency over the next couple of months). She offered that I could stay at her place and keep my stuff there. After the first month, she's been at my place the whole time and says since she's been over with me she hasn't had time to clean. Could anyone shed some light on whether they've been in a similar situation? I met her through a friend of mine (going on 15 years) and his wife (they've been friends with her for a couple years now).

The reason my GF at the time did not want me to see her new apartment was because her other boyfriend was up their taking a shower....I managed to get in however and it wound up an otherwise pleasant short term relationship... Bro, get your head out of your ass....You have been given ampler advice on your other threads after all the crap this woman has put you through...yet you are like a deer in the headlights... Who will respect you if you don't respect yourself?

She could be like the hot girl in the Seinfeld episode who basically lived in a pigsty. Or she could be one of those hoarders you see on TV. Don't let her move in with you! Why not surprise her one of these days? Or have a courier service deliver a gift or flowers and ask them to look over her shoulder to see what the place looks like.
