The bleeding heart comment was dumb. I despise bleeding hearts yet I am very sensitive about issues like poverty, children, etc. What country you from d86?

You are a patriot!

The general ideology in places like America and the UK is that people who are struggling deserve their fate, or worse, all the compassion is misplaced. Some do, it's true, but a large portion of working people get screwed by identity politics and predatory capitalism. In places like the USA the government recently spent millions of dollars renovating the library of a prison, while children in places with depressed economies like appalachia starve

All the upper middle class daddy's girls and office larva will argue for social darwinism, yet I bet if they had to do a day of real low-paid manual labor they would die :lmao:.

Tell me about it bro! If I started listing all the girls I'm not interested in, that would probably be like 90% of girls period lol! Let's see... no materialistic girls, no selfish girls, no superficial girls, no spoiled-rotten girls, no lazy girls, etc etc. It's not easy finding a good one nowadays! One girl I dated actually gave me bull**** that I spend thousands of dollars helping sick and disabled children instead of spending it on her?! Can you honestly believe that ****?! And I did spend money on her too, every time we went out I paid, vacation in Europe I paid all of it, I bought her gifts for holidays/anniversaries, etc and still she bitches? I work really hard and I even felt guilty buying a BMW M6 for myself (which I worked my ass of to afford) and then sold it to reinvest the money in my business because I didn't feel good in my heart for owning a 70k car while others are suffering. When people don't give a crap about anyone other than themselves, you know the society is going to the crapper.

Sorry for the rant lol

Could you elaborate on that, I have no clue what "bleeding heart liberal stuff" is. Maybe cultural differences or something... must be an American thing. IMO the whole liberal/conservative split is beyond retarded in America and hurts the country a great deal because all the two sides do is argue and no **** gets done. I just try to be a good person and do what's right, that's it lol. I thought that's what we were all supposed to do?

I'm not American, live in England but originally from Eastern Europe and didn't grow up in a spoilt Western culture.

It's a reference to your photos with people in wheelchairs, or similar, etc. A lot of girls love their heart strings pulled and date a sensitive guy - but you know that already. You are a smart boy

Well...most women are mentally children themselves, even if they think their college degree means different. You can't expect them to understand this concept of altruism, they are used to pressing the lever and getting a pellet which is why women are so successful in the modern world, they embody extreme conformity to whatever the flavor of the week is (in this case, predatory capitalism). A materialistic man is by default an effeminate man.

I feel the same way as you and am so sick of this society that says every man is his own island (and this island is surrounded by concrete and barbed wire). I don't believe in complete equality, since humans are indeed not equal, but how the hell can someone prefer to buy a 100,000 dollar car instead of buying a 20 thousand dollar car and investing the rest so that some needy kids can have a better life?

Whatever man, we're dinosaurs . A real 21st century man would use all that money you use for your community and invest it in something worthwhile like a hardened piece of carbon from Kay's Jewelry because some special snowflake of a woman likes pretty shiny things. :lmao:

Let's just please not turn this into another woman-hating thread. This is a thread about what to put in online profiles so lets stay on topic lol. Women are awesome. I love women, I love sex, can't live without women lol... and there is no doubt in my mind that there are lots of great girls out there. I've gotten msg's on POF from girls who are into helping others as much as I am so I have no doubts in my mind that I'll find someone good soon :)

Let's say that charity work isn't my thing? I mean, other than that, what are other things that could attract woman to my profile.

Talk about projects I've been working on, something I'm currently working on, a book i'm writing, etc?

Is it MORE than just hobbies, but perhaps list specifcially what you do in that hobby, like kayaking ,a nd mentioning certain parks in the area that are that are my favorite spots?

I think when you talk about something that you're really passionate about and enjoy, that is very attractive to girls. Nobody likes a boring guy who's in front of TV all weekend, so try not to come across as one lol. If you're writing a book, say something like "I'm currently working on a book and hope to be a successful and well-known author one day". If you like kayaking and sports, of course include that too! Something along the lines of "I really enjoy nature and outdoors. On a typical weekend you can find me kayaking at (name of park)..."

Fast shiny car? Travel to exotic (foreign) places? Dangerous sport (kayaking, if there's some fast water, should count)? Different women clearly like different things, but some of those might make you stand out from the crowd to the right audience. (There are two hidden themes in there: spare cash - because those things aren't cheap, and risk taking - which is subliminally attractive to many women.)

...so... learning how to ride a motorcycle takes about two weeks... even a girl can do it. (ha ha). I drive a Yamaha Vstar 650.

And about being a European. Ok, get a passport and go visit.

Same goes for the jujistsu... whatever it is... most people of either gender like people who have hobbies...

I'm not saying it's impossible to learn those things. But saying that you already know/do those things probably gives an advantage. I probably wouldn't get many hits by saying "I'm going to learn how to ride a motorcycle and kick some ass with jujitsu and I'm going to Europe."

grkBoy, I can tell you're a smart dude with pretty high IQ and good analytical reasoning. Unfortunately, most people on this forum won't listen to you. Most guys here are as stubborn lot as I've ever seen and will continue their misguided misogynistic whining till the end of days. I've tried to be helpful to, posting what has worked for me and they could care less. Your quest is fruitless bro, unfortunately, this is not the right place or the right audience.

There's only one guy I met online with whom I wanted to go on a second date. He had a profile I liked and I also liked him when we met. When we talked about the website and the people there, he spontaneously said, "Men are stupid."

I'm about average, 5'8 and a half. With shoes with small heel I'm 5'10, that's what I put on profile since I do wear shoes mostly, not flip flops lol. My ex was 5'7 and I don't think I look short next to most girls:

I find it a bit weird when guys lie about their height.

Posted

LOL don't tell me that 2 inches of height is a bigger deal than mr D86 being decent looking, owning his own business, and volunteering to help children?

I wish, WISH online dating sites would ask women to put their exact weight and age down on their profiles. How many would tell the complete truth? Well in the eyes of women, height is more important than age and weight put together, so it only makes sense to tell a little white lie .

I'm in a local Amnesty International group with about 10 women or more and maybe one or two guys. Many of the girls in my group are very, very attractive, smart and nice. What pains me - really, it does! - is that most of the men I've seen in the other group are not my age group and just not that attractive. The majority of men are way less interested in that kind of thing than women (I have to say though, I know two cute guys who are active with Greenpeace and I just know two Greenpeace members!).

And when we collect signatures for petitions on the street, who do you think stops more often and signs? Guess what, it's not men.

That is because Amnesty International is a fraud that is financed by evil billionaire speculator George Soros for political aims. Almost all of AI's concerns revolve around feminist issues, undermining religion, making everything about 'racism' (unless white people are the victims) ,pushing for abortion, and other New World Order causes that women support.

In other words, if you live in the masonic and secular 21st century and are in Amnesty International, you are one redundant person.

Thanks for posting what you did.

Many out there can live in fantasy, or join reality. It's up to them.

Guys can keep complaining that women are selfish and shallow. Women can keep complaining men are shallow and don't want to "grow up". Yadda yadda yadda.

Athletic build does not equate to "women's male model" fantasies. Few professional athletes have the low body fat percentage of models because it is counterproductive to athletic performance in most sports, there are some exceptions. To me, "athletic build" would be high shoulder waist ratio, flat stomach, significant flexible muscle mass, not the bodybuilder or model version of "ripped." I imagine women think differently though, you wouldn't be lying at all with "athletic" IMO.

Yes, I agree. Phineas has a similar body build to me, and I consider myself athletic. The movie stars and male models women say have "hot bodies" like Taylor Lautner and his 8 pack take a billion supplements, have a whole team of the best dietitions and trainers money can buy, and get paid specifically to look a certain way.

This is good to know because I honestly just wasn't sure.

I know I look good.

I know i'm not average build but I'm also not ripped.

I see a lot of women that are overweight putting slender athletic & toned on their profiles.

AVG is debatable because the average person needs to loose about 10 to 20lbs.

So naturally I wonder

A guy who made his money off collapsing the currency of entire nations in Europe and Asia suddenly cares about human rights? :lmao:

I'm not paranoid. I am simply saying that he has a political agenda that isn't noble what so ever. By working at Amnesty International, you are furthering it, which is fine if you believe in it, but it's not the same as volunteering your money and time to better the lives of needy children. It's funny how every time George Soros wants to overthrow a government with one of his color revolutions like in the Ukraine and Georgia , Amnesty International comes out to condemn "human rights" violations of his enemies

I don't know anything about AI, but if people want to volunteer, you don't need to do it through any huge international organization. Just organize a few friends and do something to help out your local community, organize something yourself or simply go to a local homeless shelter or foster home or even hospital and they'll be glad to have you. What I've done with friends one year was simply go to Toys-R-Us (we talked to store manager about this, he contacted corporate and we were able to get good bulk discount), buy a bunch of toys, and on Christmas day we went to the poorest part of town and just went door to door giving presents to kids. Very simple. No need to go all crazy complicated lol

Anyhow.. why does my thread keep getting hijacked

I would like to get feedback on something. I want to include the following pic, I think I look pretty good. However, I've heard that girls don't like it when guys have pics with other girls on there. Is it really such a big deal? The caption for this pic would be "Drinking tea with my bff =) "
