solong123 Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I should have known better by now, but i didn't think.. My ex has used me again, for the last time. I realize he is a low life loser but right now my self esteem is shot and i feel so alone. I am embarassed for believing the lies he fed me to make me believe he cared. What are some reccomendations to feel better? The obvious are to not speak to him which i won't, i have blocked him from everything.. But what else? Anyone else here dealt with this?
davesterr Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 at first i would just recommend doing whatever makes u feel good. watch a movie , eat icecream anything really. then after that start mingling with friends. take care of urself and enter the social world. u need someone to give u compliments and mean that. to get ur self esteem up. because at this stage we feel worthless and nothing. and we will keep telling ourselves negative thoughts untill be believe were worthless. so definitely seek support in friends and do things that u enjoy. best thing is to stay busy cuz during it u wont be thinking of your ex.
