PhillyDude Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 My arthritis flared up during the date and I couldn't walk that well and had trouble getting up from the chair. I was looking like a old man and was convinced that she was no longer interested since she was texting all through the date. But surprisingly when she arrived home she called me and said it was a pleasure meeting me? Does that surprise anyone else? I was convinced that once a woman saw a guy limping around and moving like he was 60 on a 1st date she would be turnoff. I mean what is sexy about a guy walking with a limp?-lol Shocked that she called.

I would have been more concerned if you were ok....not looking at my phone. Your flare up is not something you can help and has nothing to do with you as a person/how you treat a woman on a date so although it's probably hard to do, I wouldn't worry about it.
dasein Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Yeah who cares about the arthritis, that's a good screen actually, as the quality ones who are realistic and experienced about people and don't have a princess mentality won't be that bothered with that. Texting all through the date though? Instadump.

Texting all through the date though? Instadump. I mentioned to her that I don't like what she was doing. I thought she started texting because of how I got up from the chair to get some napkins and how I was walking. So at that point I figured she didn't care if she was being rude because of the arthritis being exposed on a date. Had no idea she was going to call she arrived home and ask when can I talk tomorrow. Maybe it has something to do with her not being from philly.
