I have a friend whose boyfriend broke up with her. She was interested in me before they got together. Now I am interested in her. We openly flirt when we go out on the weekends, but I can't tell if it real or just fun. The day before her birthday she told me that I wasn't allowed to watch smallville with my friend as our usual wednsday she said you are coming out for my birthday. Is that a sign? She also told me one night when she had plans to go out with other friends of ours and I wasn't sure I wanted to go so one night later that week she called and told me that she wanted me to go then she added the comment I really want you to go. If they are signs should I approach her while we are away this weekend at the beach, and how should I go about it without asking her? Is there any way of telling?

Yes, she likes you. Just take it slow...how old are you?

There's nothing more empowering, or rewarding, than being direct.

Throw caution to the wind. Look her in the eye with a flirty little smirk on your face, and lay it out on the table! Say, "You like me, don't you? I like you, so let's go out."

There's also nothing more attractive than someone who can be direct (without being obnoxious, that is)...girls definitely dig that.

GOOD LUCK!
