Dumped him, what do I do now?

I broke up with my ex-bf 3 days ago because he was lying to me about talking to a girl. I started the NC right after and was doing quite well.

 

The day after the break up he messaged me numerous times telling me how much he misses laying next to me looking at stars, asked me how I was doing, and just wanted me to know that "our" puppy ate something bad and puked every where. I broke the NC to tell him I am leaving his stuff in the bed of his truck because it was alot of stuff to carry up stairs to his room. His response was you "need" to get your stuff out of the house which I told him I will.

 

(He is working all day today so I know the chances of running into him was slim to none that is why I picked today to come)

 

Something came up as I planned to head over to his house and pick up my things. I sent him a text saying "Never Mind, something came up when is the next day you work?"

 

His response was "Who cares you have to get your stuff anyways"

 

Which makes me really confused and a bit flustered. I don't want to see him I don't want him reeling me back into a relationship and manipulating me.

 

However, I need my things I have my macbook there. I regret breaking the NC rule because the fact that he said I needed to get my things out of his house hurts.

 

How do I get my things back and return his without any pain?

Is that the only reason you broke up with him because he was lying about talking to another girl??

Something is fishy about this...especially after that other thread that was posted by this poster that suggests playing some mind games and never telling your man everything because he will just use it against you.
