emeraldcity Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 I have naturally quite large legs in comparison to the rest of my body. I have tiny waist and am small up top, yet still carry quite a bit of weight around my upper thighs. I have taken to doing spin classes three times a week, and while I have noticed my legs seem more muscular and have less cellulite, they are still as solid as mighty tree trunks! Is their anything that can be done to slim legs down? I've given up and just accepted that this is an area of my body that will never be how I want it to be. Also, does anyone know of any good exercises to firm up ones behind? I'd like an ass so firm I could bounce pennies off it.
magda Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 My booty loves hiking (or the stairmaster). Also helpful is lots of stretching.. ballerinas are so slender and lean - try the New York City Ballet Workout .
moimeme Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 Yes, but ballerinas also exercise six or so hours every day.
magda Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 well, duh! haha. But the stretches they do are really hard and really improve your flexibility - which is good for looking lean.
