So I fell in love with my boss, who I've been working with for a bit over a year now. For a good half of that year, I wasn't interested in him at all and didn't think much of him. After a while, I started to respect and admire him because he's very good at what he does. A few months ago, those feelings of admiration turned into something else entirely. I've been avoiding admitting to myself that I'm falling for him but I really can't hide from the truth anymore. I spend a lot of time around him (he's the general manager and I'm an assistant manager) and the more I'm around him, the more it hurts. The thing is, he's transferring to another place several hours from where I am in about a week. I don't know what to do. I've gone over and over in my head what I should say to him if I do tell him, and it's making me sick. I don't know if I should tell him, it would be a huge weight off my shoulders but it might make him...respect me less?? I'm not sure, this has been driving me crazy for awhile, I have been coming home and crying almost every day. I can't handle this stress anymore. :(

Thank you for the reply! Sorry to say though, that article didn't really help. My boss is single and not that much older than me. :( I'm just a really shy and awkward person, so I'm considering leaving a note for him before he leaves, because I just don't think I can gather the courage I need to speak up, but I just don't know if this is a good idea either.

i'd be subtle because advice columns generally say this, drop hints say you have a freind in area he is going to and would like to meet up. nothing can force him - but trying to wear something revealing to make him see u as hot booty may help- just don't tell him you're in love, way too overwhelming, (he sees u as a workmate) and your so just say you like him/he's fun/brainy/whatever/sexy maybe

leave a note, if you like though - but you've spent time with this guy, you're alreadly freindly, i mean some would kill for that much closeness! xx
