TheColorCute Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 (edited) OK, guys. Firstly, as you can see, I'm new to this site. So, hello! Secondly, this might be a long one, but I'll try to keep it short and to the point. About 1.5 months ago, my buddy and I met up with a girl who an acquaintance of ours had introduced us to. My buddy is Bosnian, and the girl is Bosnian, so the acquaintance (her roommate) thought they should know each other. We had never met the girl before. We pick her up and take her the waterfront. It's me, her, and two friends of mine there. After 10 minutes, one of my friends leaves to get food. After another few minutes, my other friend leaves to go for a ride in somebody's new car. This leaves me and her together. She asks me to walk around the docks with her. As soon as we start walking she asks for my number. We walk around and look at the boats, talking and joking with each other. Eventually, my friends come back, and I notice that she stops walking close to my buddy, and starts following me wherever I go, staying close to me. At one point, we were standing in the parking lot, and she;s standing behind me. She gradually moves closer and closer to me until she's squeezed between me and the car next to me. OK, so she's showing IOIs. Fast forward to a couple weeks later. I come over to her dorm to help her with some math homework. I see the acquaintance I mentioned earlier in her room. We start doing some homework. The homework was super easy. The review stuff they have you do prior to starting Calculus I. I know she can do it. This girl is smart. She was admitted to the honors college. She also had most of the problems already solved on a little piece of paper she kept referencing. Her other roommate is asking me lots of questions about myself, and telling the girl "Oh, have you showed him this?!" and "Oh, did he see this?!". So I'm thinking some talking about me occurred before hand. She laughs at all of my jokes, even the ones that aren't very funny. We get to know each other, talk, laugh, and so on and so forth. She offers to walk me back to my car, and mentions that she's so glad that she met me and that she has so much fun with me. While we're walking, she says that she's cold and she takes my arm. I escalate a little further and tell her to give me her hand, and I hold he hand for a bit, until she takes it away and takes my arm back. When we get to my car, she asks to sit inside to warm up. I ask for a kiss goodnight (shouldn't have asked, I know. Just should have done it), and she comes in and kisses me on the cheek. We meet up a few more times. She would come running out her dorm screaming my name, bound over to me, and give me a big hug saying "I'm so glad you're here!". Fast forward to couple weeks later. We go to see The Lion King 3D together (:cool). In the theater, she's taking pictures of everything, including us together. Again, we talk, and learn more about each other and find more that we have in common. During the movie, she was leaning toward me, and whenever she laughed, she looked at me to see if I was laughing too. I drive her home and walk her back to her dorm. She again says that she has so much fun with me. She proceeds to give me a hug, and I say "Would you like to try something different?" (again, stupid, I know). She says "I can't... I want to... But I can't... I don't want to ruin our friendship... I'm good at that. But I will do this", and she kisses me on the cheek. I don't know, maybe she was worried that if we went any further, things would change between us? Like she wouldn't have as much fun with me? We meet up a few more times. She still shows IOIs. I decide to freeze her out and see what happens. I freeze her out for two weeks. During those two weeks, she texts me a couple of times asking for me to come over and help with math (my friends and I have concluded that she just wants to see me, and is using the math help as an excuse to see me). I ignore her. The second time she texts me, I meet up with her, and she introduces me to another girl friend of hers. We go to a study room on campus (her roommates has since started to annoy the hell out of her, so we don't really do stuff in her room anymore), and as soon as we enter the room, they both run out and exchange some words privately in the hallway. We start the homework. Again, it was super easy. Literally 2 questions. Took like 10 minutes. She said that she was stuck on it. As far as I could tell, she wanted to see me and to interrogate me as to where I have been for the last two weeks, what I've been doing, and why I haven't been talking to her. After we finished, I showed her some funny videos I had found on YouTube. She always laughs at any video I show her. She loves them. When she laughs, She leans her entire body to me. Then, she asked a weird questions. She asked if I've met any girls lately. This confused me. Was she just fishing for information? Maybe she was wondering if I've met another girl, and that's why I hadn't talked to her for two weeks? I have to leave. She gives me a rather...affectionate hug. She jumps into me and leans her entire body against me, puts one of her legs in the air, and wraps her arms around my neck and squeezes me tight, while saying "Ohhh I missed you. Basically, I'm super confused. She shows IOIs and signs of interest, but when I try to escalate into a kiss, she backs down. Is she scared of going further?
