irc333 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Men: Would you avoid a woman that had this in their profile as a "PS" or "Update" "I receive a lot of emails on a daily basis, so if I don't repond it's either because I'm busy, or I wasn't interested....so take it as a thanks, but I'm not interested" Would that be an online dating fax paux?
dasein Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Just had an idea for an OLD service, "escrowdating.com." Every member would have to meet an escrow agent of the site to prove they were and looked like who they said they were. They would also have to put down a cash bond to join the site that would be forfeit if they did any of the following X number of things while a member of the site. I'd pay quite a sum to join such a site. datingmediation.com ROFL.

No, and no. It's a cliché, though, and hence tedious to have to read it over and over. Sheer boredom sometimes forces me to skip on to the next profile.
speedster Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 disclaimers are better than my pet peeve: 'goddess' ... no way am i going to date anyone with that in their profile.
Dust Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 I try to avoid online dating all togather. Seriously though I could care less whats in her profile disclaimers or other wise. She might as well write "Please be aware I fart big, loud, and heavy!" I want to know if they're hot! That's why real world is the best. Because from what I hear online girls are disapointing in many ways.
Disenchantedly Yours Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 I wouldn't care. It shows narcissism and lack of courtesy on her part though, even still I wouldn't let what somebody on a dating site writes offend me. I totally agree with this.
grkBoy Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 I wouldn't care. Most attractive women on dating sites barely even browse profiles...they just go to their inbox and see who's there. If I think we have common interests and I think she's attractive, I'll email her.
