She says she has no more unlimited text so I asked if I can call sometime and she says her parents dont have unlimited minutes. Instead of respecting her wishes, Sam fired back with "Well, I was really hoping to see you before the weekend."

If I want to hear something L-O-N-G that someone wants to communicate to me, I'd rather see his/her face, body language and hear the intonation if I want to have anything to do with them at all. The phone works to add intonation and doesn't involve cramping the fingers with texts. If I don't want to be in any relationship with someone at all, I don't want a phone call, a text or a long conversation in person. Sometimes I don't even want a short conversation in any way, shape or form.

I write a very well read blog and am dismayed at how many people read just the title of something then fire off comments. I'll bet many people read OG's first post, not the linked article, then assume he's talking about wating to still talk to that woman. He's already told her she's full of it. @One Goal All you need to realize young man is that women, especially young ones, will lie about that sort of thing all the time. They say no in a "nice" indirect way because they aren't intersted in you right now. Just don't let the same woman see you with another woman suddenly their getting angry like they had a claim on you. You'll get a GF eventually just keep talking to women. One will eventually just like you back. @Single in south. What texting is for depends on your phone. Many people have these Android or Apple phones and other Smart Phones which can send a long text and have it be just as readable as an email. They have qwerty keyboards or on screen keyboards...or you can even dictate the text just by talking into the phone! Many more people still have non-smart phones on which reading a text longer than OMG or I Luv U or some stuff like that. That "text speak" is a real hassle. To make it all more complicated have you noticed that FB messaging has this ability to send a message as a text to a phone. It is usually selected by default. So you can be sending a FB message on a PC which is made for typing things of arbitrary long length, to a phone that can hardly display it. I'm old school. If you want to communicate with someone by telephone just call them. I think it was George Carland who joked about how we advanced from Telegrams to Telephones then to email. From text to voice and back to text.

Couple days ago I sent a short text just asking how things were going and if she was doing anything on Thanksgiving. No reply once again. Yesterday I left a short comment on facebook just telling her happy Thanksgiving and she didn't comment back or like my post. She didn't delete though.

FB is a popularity site, the more comments you have on a post the more it seems like you're really popular with your friends. She's seeking attention and you're giving it to you.
