stillafool Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 The Matriarchy doesn't let it's slave-workers depart from the land, LOL! http://www.usembassy.org.uk/americanservices/?p=544 Not true. Do you need a ride to the airport?
Disenchantedly Yours Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 American women: mediocre looks, supermodel attitudes. And which one applies to American men Wolf? Or any other guy that can enlighten us lowly American women. American men: A) Super looks, super attitudes? B) Mediocre looks, super attitudes? C) Mediocre looks, mediocre attitudes? D) Super looks, mediocre attitudes?
Author the wizard Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 Not seeing. The women out here are so trashy, any form of out of towner seems like Mother Teresa lol.
Author the wizard Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 I don't hate the U.S. Lol, but American women are typically bigger whores lol.
Untouchable_Fire Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I think it's the other way around. Foreign women are less picky in general. First of all, some of them come from poor countries where the average male height is like 5'5". You are not going to require a 6 foot tall handsome white boy with a Masters degree when that is the case. And in general, foreign white women are more open to dating minorities. I have heard this many times. Pickier at what? I don't know what the problem is but a huge chunk of the women in America are worthless for a relationship. Have you ever watched the movie Spanglish? Tea Leoni's character represents American female culture.
grkBoy Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Frankly, if guys here hate American women, then go to Europe or South America and find this ideal dream woman.
O'Malley Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 As a South American woman who has lived in the US for most of my life, I get a good laugh every time someone recites those myths as if they were gospel. If those guys got a chance to spend some time with my mother and my family members who still live in South America, they'd get quite the rude awakening! The same here. My mother and her family emigrated U.S. from what is now Belarus, and I roll my eyes at the stereotypes you hear about women from particular countries. What exactly defines a 'typical' American man or woman, considering how large it is and the varying ethnicities that have brought parts of their culture here? If you prefer the general lifestyle of a country and the interactions with the locals (not the people you're encountering in the tourist junkets), than I'd encourage you to move there. Obviously, that's far easier said than done in the ongoing economy.
grkBoy Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 And your beloved gf was born where .... ? Slovakia. My point still stands. If you don't like women here in the US, then look elsewhere. Before I met my fiance, I was actually looking into long distance with other women I've met online. One was a girl from Belarus who lives in the states, the other was a girl from Canada. Even a Spanish (as in Spain) who also lives in the US. So one might think if I live in Chicago why I would look beyond. I agree that too often the locals are all holding out for some unattainable standard of male that never comes. Hence why these particular women are chronically single. I notice how for a man, at least for me, the choices were either a pretty-looking headcase, or a single mom with a drama-filled life, or a fat woman I'm not attracted to. If I had not met my fiance, I would have remained open to all over. Other states, countries, etc...as well as American women who I happen to click with. Do I think American women have problems? Yes...but I also think American MEN have problems too. I can see it even on this message board. I think both genders share a lot of the blame as to why dating and love is so difficult in the US. So if you all can't get things happening with the US women, then look abroad or at least hang out in ethnic neighborhoods and you might meet someone. I'll tell you, bashing American women to death here isn't going to change anything. Look what female role models women look at...the Kardasians, the Sex and the City crew, the Jersey Shore girls, Teen Moms on MTV, etc. It's not going to change either. We can go on and on and on, but it's meaningless. This is why I simply say to let "spoiled brat princesses" or the "set the bar too high" women be left to their own devices. Let them hit 30, 40, 50, etc...and get angry they never found their dream man. Only thing I ever tell to the guys is to make sure you're putting your best foot forward.
Untouchable_Fire Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 So what? either bitch and moan, or suck it up and deal with how your culture is. I've had my time bitching about this. Some of the issue is just perception and unfortunately a lot more of it is just reality. IF you live in this country... you have to deal with the people here. My family has been here since the early 1700's... so I'm not leaving. I pay for all the craziness through taxes, and I put in about 16 years of dating American women... so I've paid my dues. I'm just happy to be free now.
Mme. Chaucer Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Not seeing. The women out here are so trashy, any form of out of towner seems like Mother Teresa lol. I think it's commonly accepted that "water seeks its own level." You're just encountering your female equals.

American men: A) Super looks, super attitudes? B) Mediocre looks, super attitudes? C) Mediocre looks, mediocre attitudes? D) Super looks, mediocre attitudes? I would actually argue that American men spend more time on their appearance than any men in other countries (with a few exceptions). You won't find even close to as many beef-cake looking guys like you do in the USA, men in other countries just don't work out and would be considered "ew too skinny" by most American women. Men also don't wear expensive clothes, get their eyebrows waxed, or even drive cars in many parts of Europe and the America's. If you're a woman in America the men are amazing. Of course I don't personally think the average American male is great at all, he is almost as dumb and materialistic as his female counterpart which is extra ugly in a man, but I am speaking from a woman's point of view.
little_black_dress Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Being more or less "loose" probably has to do with the fashionable culture of each place. I don't see something bad about it if someone does not harm themselves and it is what they really want. I have met some American people and I really liked their vibe! Also in Europe there are countries with supposedly looser people and countries with more conservative people. In my country it is fashionable to be a "snob" and not have sex with a man who does not earn enough money and does not look like Brad Pitt. Not good either.
Disenchantedly Yours Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Mircea How about many white guys in the US that have been raised to 'respect' women by 3rd wave feminists up to the point where they ask for permission to ask for sex. OH okay..show me all this respect American men have for women? Compared to the rest of the women in the world, women in the US do have a sense of entitlement ... but the same can be said of early 20's unmarried Japanese women, or any women in a seriously developed nation where there is a lot of social security for women. I'm sorry but a lot of young people today, men and women, have a sense of entitlement. This isn't a gender issue. it's a cultural one.

I'm pretty much Ok with the live and let live on this, however those of us with jobs have to pay for these women. Medicaid alone costs something like 300 billion federally and probably $200 billion for local governments. There are almost no men eligible for this... it's almost exclusive for women and children. So our culture promoting female douchebaggery has a huge social impact. Yes I fully support taking care of poor children. That doesn't mean I am not pissed at the tidal wave of irresponsible women who choose to have kids they can't or won't take care of. Nearly 1 in 10 women in this country has a child the state is subsidizing.

One of my biggest complaints about American women is that so many can't distinguish lust from love. Flattery gets you farther than a real compliment. They laser focus on a man spending money on a woman, while they should be more interested in that man investing in her. My young cousin is a perfect example. He is an Ahole and has no respect for women at all. Probably the most chauvinistic guy I've ever met. He gets more women than anyone I've ever met. So... his friends copy him... and on the world goes. When we teach our daughters what to look for in a man, the men will straighten up and act right... until then it's a race to the bottom.

Nearly 1 in 10 women in this country has a child the state is subsidizing. So go start a PAC of "nice guys" or "men who aren't getting laid" and work to force the douches to pay child support or face hard labor. Work to cut off single moms from public money, take kids away and put them in foster homes. Right now the Conservatives are trying to work to get birth control cut off from women...so they're the ones pretty much trying to stop abortion and birth control. Guess how many more babies we end up with? People take personal responsibility? Good luck getting that to happen. We're in a horrific financial mess and those at the top didn't have to take responsibility for their decisions. Plus in many of those other countries the children get taken care of to a degree on public money and social safety nets...but everyone is taken care of so people have less to worry about (despite paying more in taxes). So unless you're perfectly willing to let children starve and die, etc...then I don't know what to tell you. Push to get a male birth control pill made or something.

The lust vs love thing is my complaint too. When women depended on men to eat, they had no choice but to choose a man who invested in them. I don't know if we should go back to that system, but I think generous government incentives for families that stay married for 10+ years would encourage people to choose mates based on common sense rather than solely on what arouses their genitals, as well as give the ADD generation a reason to try and work out their relationship problems instead of abandoning ship over the littlest and dumbest things. Of course women might not like this. The modern world is a woman's candy store. All kinds of delictable , fancy chocolates to eat but no long term consequences after you glut yourself. Even the label of slut doesn't offend women anymore, now it's a badge of honor (see: slut walk ).

I don't like, and never have liked "beef-cake" looking guys. I also don't care much for a man in expensive clothes because a man in a suit can be just as hot as a man in a flannel shirt and work boots. But I digress, the men here act like all American men are brimming with respect and kindness when that's not a reality.
