babyygirllhi Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 (edited) A guy pulled up beside my car and flirtatiously waved. Then we ended up seeing eachother at the same beach 20 min later. I saw him a few times randomly at the beach after. He always found a way to come talk a bit, but he never was too forward. He is a surfer and owns a surf school. The other day he saw that i brought a board and offered to help me. Before he offered he gave me his number for a "free" lesson. After helping me in the water he surfed himself then left without saying bye. I texted him that night (sunday) saying thanks for his help that day and im up for a lesson. i also asked when he's available. he replied 10 min later just saying ya no worries, let u know this week. thnks. its now tuesday and i havent heard anything from him .... :/ my opinion was he is def not into me. if he were, he would have simply gotten a hold of me by now or at the very least, sounded more enthused in his text. right guys? ErgoStep Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 If he owns the surf shop he's got a great excuse to meet women. It could be more financial than romantic. What he likely wants is for you to pay for surfing lessons. His approach to you made you comfortable. It was a good approach for a romantic interest. If I were in your shoes I would be friendly in that same manner to other guys on the beach. One of them might be interested enough to buy you drinks if you build up properly.
