How do you convince a girl that a relationship won't end badly?

I have no idea what else to title this haha.

 

Anyway, to get straight to the point, I've had a crush on this girl for a little while and I believe that she could like me back. The problem is that my best friend is her best friend which obviously puts her in an awkward position. She believes that if the relationship were to end then it could end up being quite a disastrous break-up because of this. I can completely see where she is coming from. I genuinely believe though that we would be good together, and I don't want the issue of our best friend to get in the way of something that might be really good. I've talked to my best friend and tried to convince her that she wouldn't have to get involved in our relationship and she does agree to some extent, but this also means that I can't get her to help me with this. I don't know what to do to try and convince this girl that things might not even end badly and that we should just look at now rather than later.

 

Any suggestions?
