Does it matter if its a nice car or not? How should a guy ask the girl in this situation? I would advise anyone, not just women, to avoid placing themselves in situations where they have to rely on the kindness of strangers. Undoubtedly the majority of the people who have stopped for vehicle breakdowns are motivated by altruism, but the unfortunate fact that there are violent individuals out there looking for the perfect victim is enough to scare any sensible person out of accepting a lift.

All girls are conditioned to never accept lifts from strangers - they generally also stay in public places where there are other people around, look over their shoulders constantly when walking in a dark or quiet place, hurry through deserted subways or find another route if possible, leave details of a date with a friend in case they go missing, etc. The golden rule of dating is never be alone with a guy unless you're sure about him and know him fairly well. Guys don't really understand this because they're much more secure. It would be extremely naive to get in the car with a complete stranger. Naive verging on stupidity
