steveo456 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Hi guys, Theres a girl that I work with that i thought/think likes me. We get on really well and are so comfortabe round each other. A couple of weeks ago I went out on a night out with a few friends. We ended up in a nightclub, all a bit drunk, I then bumped into one of her best friends that I have been introduced to by this girl before. I was talking to her for a while (mainly cause my bud wanted to get into this girl), then this friend who was drunk aswel starts asking me if im 'in love' with the girl I work with. She kept asking me that question for about 15 minutes, in that time she was saying stuff like: 'Come on just say it and i'll sort it for you' 'I can tell u like her, your games been given away' 'She's shown me ur texts' 'she thinks ur a really nice guy but doesnt think u like her in that way' During this questioning I just wouldnt answer and kept smiling at her friend and looking her in the eyes. (this was my way of saying, yeh i do, u kno it but im not saying it) Right, now heres the probem. Before then this girl would be texting me constantly and we were getting on really well. Come the Monday when I saw her at work I asked her if her friend can remember stuff when shes drunk. She told me her friend said she was too drunk to remember. I like an idiot continued to ask her this all week and kinda took the p**s with it, by saying stuff like, 'if ur going out this weekend, watch what ur friend says, by friday she'd got really annoyed by it. We got into an argument over it on friday as she knew me and her friend had been talking about something. Also since that monday she's also stopped texting bck as frequent and saying shes been not getting my texts. By the weekend id realised id been an idiot about things by tying to play games and I apologised to her. Since then I havent text her and she hasnt text me, we've only worked together once since then and I guess she was ok round me. As i was an idiot about it all, i sent her friend a text apologising for messing her friend round with our conversation. Her friend replied back and said: 'dont worry about it, i do remember the convo but havent told her as it may make her feel uncomfortable as u work together, also if u want her to kno its best to come from u' Right so, thats where Im up to now. I really need help here with this. If anyone can answer the following questions it will be a huge help to me: 1. How could I have improved my response in the club? (did i handle it badly) 2. Why do u think shes not responding to my txts, do u think her friends told her or not? 3. Does this girl i work with deffo like me? (or did lol) 4. What should be my next move, should I just tell her my feelings? Much appreciated.
