I have a boyfriend, we have been together for over 3 years now. So we started off great. he would complament me etc. we would huge and kiss. but after about 6 months i first started to see things changing. he started to say he didnt like the affectionate stuff. evenually said rude degrading things. wanted me to start changing my music, cloths etc. evenually i lost all my friends. but hes not all bad, he does little things that make me laugh and smile. and alot of the time we are together we are always laughing. but lately i have been really busy and see less of him. and i have been evaluating the relationship in my head over and over. and i cant seem to find many good things in the relationship except for that i love him. my question is love enough? any advise people?

Hi meme19

Love is certainly not enough. You need to have friends to live a full life, and you lost them because of this guy, which isn't cool at all. Furthermore, a guy should NEVER say anything that'd degrade a girl, most especially his girlfriend. Him wanting to change you forcibly (for better or worse) is not the right way to go about it. If you feel that the way you dress and the music you listen to is alright, then he should respect that and be happy for you.
