It doesn't sound like he's trying to get some girl totally sloshed/blacked out. Nothing wrong with using alcohol as a tool for hookups, if it's done right.

I always wanted a girl to remember the night/sex .

Using Alcohol to get sex is just lame.. if a woman is drunk or had a little too much to drink then the guy shouldn't take advantage of that.. in fact he should do the opposite and make sure he doesn't take advantage of her..

I figure there must be something to it, because except for only 3 meetup groups I can think of, all the rest of the singles meetup groups are centered on alcohol in one way or another.

These run the gamut from dancing-and-cocktails, to "all you can drink" blowouts.

For whatever reason, we seem to think nondrinkers don't get lonely.

That seems to be what some think...

I have been a sober non-drinker for over 24 years and never (during my single years) had any trouble getting women or even talking to women that I didn't know.

I think in dating a drink can just calm the nerves and make the anxiety go away but it isn't a necessary...

He's getting NOTHING right now which is equally if not more so, lame. Again, as long as he's not getting her totally wrecked, there's nothing wrong with going to a party or a club or a bar where people are drinking and hooking up with a girl who's more likely to say yes in that scenario (for various reasons).

I love how the people who want others to follow conventional "rules" are all the people who are incredibly privileged in their own dating lives in the first place. It's like they want a monopoly on success, to hell with everyone else.

From what I've read about, many women don't develop feelings for a guy till after they've had sex or made-out. And of course, it seems very unlikely for one to get a woman to sleep with a man without her having feelings for him first

So is that where booze comes in? She gets drunk and horny, has sex and then a relationship starts?

Is that what I've been doing wrong, not trying to get girls I know drunk?

I have feelings for guys all the time without anything physical happening. Right now, I'm really into my co-worker and, of course, since he has a girlfriend, it's very platonic and chaste. And strangely, I'm still sort of happy. Probably, because I see him five days a week.

... yeah.. that is what we want..

Going to a club to pickup a drunk woman and taking her to your place to have sex can be considered rape.. how is that hard to understand ?

Can you tell the difference between 2 drinks and 5 in how much a woman can drink.. I can't..

Obviously though a woman who has only had a drink or two isn't what I'm speaking about though.. any person or woman who has only had a drink or two is perfectly able to give consent.. but a woman who has had 5 drinks.. not so much...

At least you admit it.

Drunk? Or tipsy? A little difference there. And do you recall one of the posts that SD81 cited as an example? It was a poster on here who said she hooked up with a guy while drunk. Do you think she considers herself raped?

This thread is ridiculous. SD81 is considered weird for being sexually inexperienced, or a creep for trying to do something about it. Guy can't win for losing.

Lucky for him. Having two girls into him. I haven't had a woman into me in years.

As for the topic, I find it really funny that people are assuming I'm trying to get a girl blackout drunk so I can rape her.

I bet every single one of them has had sex when they were a bit drunk/tipsy, whatever they want to call it.

Yes. And universities, which the OP attends, generally have policies even stricter than the law.

this is true

Technically, if you have sex with someone who has ANY amount of alcohol in their bloodstream, by most university standards, without basically having written, notarized consent,

this is not, if it were, you can end up owning your school. There are still limits to the insanity, even in this f-ed up society.

OP don't be afraid to sleep with a woman who has been drinking, but do be mindful that universities conduct ongoing, politicized witchhunts against men where date rape is concerned. Not enough real rape occurs to justify the disproportionate resources spent on date rape programs at many schools, so they are more than ready to take advantage of chances to up their statistics at any opportunity by "manufacturing" more rapes where there aren't enough real ones.

I don't live on campus.

Any sex will take place in my apartment ten minutes from school

Unless I somehow hook up with a girl in her dorm room. Which I have no idea how that would even happen or how booze could be involved in that.

Where you live wouldn't matter, as a member of the student body, were you accused of date rape, you would be hauled before what equates to a stacked kangaroo court. The good news is that those proceedings can be appealed in a real court, but that is expensive. I would suggest spending $30 and getting a cheap microrecorder. If you bring a woman back to your apt. click it on and leave it in the bedroom. This kind of thing, specifically cellphone camera, has saved a guy's life in several of the big false rape claim cases.

That thread is getting creepier by the minute....

I don't condone rape in any way but it is very easy to accuse an innocent man of rape and ruin his life. One of my mother's friends would often brag about how she sent an innocent guy to prison for a few years because he denied her whatever that means.

And, I should imagine, put him foul of laws prohibiting covert recording of sexual acts.

somedude...in the unlikely event that you decide you're going to record the event, do make sure you get the woman's consent to it being recorded first.

That's a good point. SD, get legal advice for your home state. In my state, it's fine to record someone without their permission, no idea of any "recording sex act" laws. To my knowledge, none of the men in the Hofstra case were charged with such.

I believe I'm qualified to answer this question for you SD.

A lot of people who are unsuccessful in dating (as far as what I've read online) don't drink or go to bars or clubs much. They're shyer and would rather not partake in 'that' mainstream ritual.

That is not me. I've been unsuccessful and I drink a lot, and go to bars a lot. Or I used to at least.

So ... does a traditionally undesirable male increase his chances when he is loaded and around a lot of loaded women?

Yes and no.

The alcohol is more for you. It loosens you up and eases your inhibitions. You'll talk to more women and be more loose and humorous ... IF you can control your alcohol intake before you get wasted and obnoxious (took me years to do that).

Women, drunk or sober, and especially the type that go to bars and get wasted, will rarely hook up with some guy they find completely unattractive. Most won't even talk to you, so you are definitely not going to get sex and a relationship if they find you unattractive. Maybe some messy kissing at best.

But you know what, I would do it. I've hooked up with two women who were drunk who blew me off the next time they heard from me. But they were sober enough to know what they were doing and talk coherently when they were doing it. So, what did I take away from it? "Hey, she was attracted to me. In the morning, she thought maybe she could do better, but she thought I was cute in the moment."

Equals a win. For me, kissing a girl is a win. Confidence +1.

So, in other words, you don't have much to lose.

There is your proof. I'll you want me to, I'll find more stories of women who started dating a guy after they had sex and only had sex because she's been drinking.

All that proves is that there are exceptions to the rule. There are exceptions to every rule. But the vast majority of relationships do not start with drunk sex. Usually, drunk sex leads to nothing but embarrassment for both people.

I find it really funny that people are assuming I'm trying to get a girl blackout drunk so I can rape her.

You're not understanding this. The girl doesn't have to black out. She doesn't have to be unconscious. You could even tape record her giving her consent, and it would still be rape because DRUNK PEOPLE CANNOT LEGALLY CONSENT.

The idea is that drunk people are too intoxicated to know what they're doing. So even if they say "yes," it doesn't matter because they don't know what they're saying yes to. Being drunk negates the "yes." Makes it totally null and void.

Have only read some of the responses, and this OP.

SomeDude,

Getting a woman hammered and having sex with her bec of her compromised state, that's no way to start a relationship.

How would she feel about you later realizing what happened?

Have seen many posts on boards where the woman lost her virginity to a guy when both were intoxicated. Deep regrets. She never viewed that guy as any kind of friend.

Don't listen to them somedude, just do it!

If a woman willingly chooses to drink and you have sex with her, that isn't a crime. Everyone's real independant and liberated, "It's my body I do wut Iiiii want"...that is until you have to deal with some of the consequences like sleeping with a guy you wouldn't like sober. That isn't rape, even if you knowingly offer her drinks with the idea of getting her panties off.

And trust me, once you sleep with a woman and that oxytocin starts to kick in, you'll have her hooked for a while. Just last night my hero-wannabe friend intervened when a guy was slapping his girlfriend around in public, usually I am always down to help people in danger even at my own expense but in this specific situation I know she's there because she wants to be. There was a fight and the cops came. Make a long story short she refused to sell out her boyfriend and if it wasn't for all the witnesses around my buddy would've gone to jail and got a fat lip for this stupid broad. Oxytocin > common sense. :lmao:

Cherry picked morality. Should we let drunk drivers off the hook then? What about people who commit a homicide under the influence? If I pay to get a big penis tattooed on my forehead when I'm wasted should I be able to sue the tattoo parlor?

I think it's safe to say a large majority of crimes and horrors are done under the influence of something, but these people are held just as accountable as a sober person.

Grow up and take responsibilities for your actions. I've gotten in trouble in the past for things I've done drunk, I probably wouldn't have done them sober but you know what? Nobody cares, especially not the laws. If you're going to start legislating about this you might as well just ban booze, mother goose.

Alcohol was involved the one time i was with a women, my friends wifes best friend ..we went back to the couples house after a night at a bar and she bascially jumped on me on their couch.. ended up sleeping over the couples house..[make out no sex i saw she was pretty drunk]

I tried textign her for a few days after to hang out i was so happy a womne was into me i thought but she didnt respond till days later saying please do not tell anyone what happened and that it was mistake because she was extremely drunk..

So while i got something out of it technically in reality it just killed my confidence even more to see the reaction of a girl who woke up and realize what she did with my ugly ass and how disgusted she was with herself..

Don't be so hard on yourself.

You gauged the situation correctly. Many other guys would have sensed her compromised state but taken advantage of her anyway.

You, AD1980, are a real man.

Very dodgy path to go down, I'd say.

I remember being on a date with a guy I'd met the week beforehand, and feeling incredibly woozy even though I'd only had a couple of drinks. He had bought both rounds (wouldn't let me buy a round). We were walking along the road, him trying to persuade me to go back to his, and I was having trouble focusing on walking.

I said something about how drunk I felt, and he smirkingly said that he'd bought trebles. Hadn't I noticed how strong the drinks were? At that point I saw a taxi with its light on, flagged it down and shut the door in his face. To me, deliberately giving a woman drinks that have a much higher alcohol content than she realises isn't far off slipping something into her drink while she isn't looking. Albeit, he confessed...but only when he thought I was too legless to flag down a taxi and get the hell away from him..

Scary. Some creepy guys out there. Notice I didn't call them "men."

I had a chance to do this one, but I passed it over. For one, I am not that type of guy...and secondly, the girl seemed like a nice girl.

She probably went home with another dude who wasn't as gentlemanly, but I wasn't raised to be that way...no matter how desperate I might be about losing my virginity!

Don't presume she did that.

She'd thank you if she could, so don't get down on yourself for your thoughtful actions.

Have seen regretful posts from women who let a guy take advantage of her, then had deep regrets the next day...

Your actions were proper.

So Fred, I hope you don't believe in equality if men are supposed to act like some random drunk girls dad when she asks for it? Or do you believe in modern feminism , which says that men are supposed to be patriarchs when it benefits women and grab their ankles on issues like their own child's abortion, divorce, child custody?

If your so irresponsible that you're going to hook up with a guy then accuse him of rape when you find out he's ugly the next day, then stay home and play with your dolls on saturday night.

I hope you and the rest of the morality police will be "real men" when I get into a drunken bar fight and protest that I was taken advantage of on my court date.

By saying it's wrong for men to have sex with a woman because she's drunk is saying that women are not capable of responsibility and need to be baby sat. If that's the case then don't let women drink.

Alchol can be the key to hooking up with women. Both you and them drinking. The right amount of alchol could actually make you cooler... Or lamer... As for girls they use it as an excuse to act slutty. Enjoy!

Don't listen to some of the posters on here... listen to me. Yell shots! at the next hot girl you see and make her take atleast 2 in a row~
