stunned8165 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Have a listen to this all. I'm almost there.. And we WILL ALL get there and realize some day that................. Well, have a listen...
smashalasha Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 It's true! I can say I'm actually past that point now and I thought it would take me YEARS to get over it and move on but it took only months... It took lots of patience from those around me to listen (the breakup was all I could talk about for a while), a few counseling sessions (which turned out I didn't really need but it was another outlet), and lots of walks, hot baths, and some good cries to work through all the stress and emotions. You won't reach this point unless you actively work through the issues... time alone cannot heal. What especially helped was going on dates with NEW people... tough at first, but it showed me that not only would there be plenty of guys in my future who would be interested in me, but that I could also be interested in someone else who wasn't my ex! I ended up with someone who was right in front of me the whole time I was dating my ex and who is a better match for me in every way... I never would have had my eyes opened to this possibility if I was still hung up on my ex.
raymondebontrager Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 There's no problem with that specially if you both still care with each other..but its better for you to explore the world so that you could have good choices.....
