trust and digging

So my fiance lied to me about going into work early one day and I causght her. This made me dig and find some things I didn't like but weren't necessarily wrong just things she hid from me. We have decided to drop this and move forward. Do I just openly trust her and drop it for this to work and just give it time to see what happens? Do I continue to dig to see if there is anything going on? There's potential good or bad in either I think...what should I do?

It'd depend on what she hid from you. Also, just a thought: if she finds it necessary to lie about the small things, what more about the big things?

 

Play detective a bit. Don't think confronting her and demanding the truth will work. Just don't get caught!

What's the point in being in a relationship if 1) you feel the need to hide things and 2) you have to snoop around because you expect to find more dirt?

Well seeing that this is at least the second thread you started on this, I'd say you have a hard time 'dropping it'. You said she did things you didn't like even though they weren't necessarily wrong... What does that mean? How can you dislike something she does if it's not wrong?

 

Maybe she finds life much easier if she hides things from you.
