Or is it just me? I have been in relationships had some good and bad dating experiences, but damn this year has been brutal! Some of these women i have dated just flake on a whim even after we have a great time together. Not just online, but people i meet out in the real world...what do you all think?

I haven't been in the dating pool for quite a while, but based on what people I know have told me, this "flaking" may be the result of them just finding someone else that they clicked with better, so they didn't pursue other relationships that they may have shown initial interest in.

I think flaky inconsiderate behavior is becoming more pervasive everywhere. I can't believe how flaky and inconsiderately I have been treated by services in my new locale. They seem to work on their own schedule and get upset when you probe them about their tardiness or failure to show at all. I can't believe some of this and wonder if the country is all like this. I'm used to "New York minutes" and accountability--not Mayberry or Hee Haw when I get around to it minutes.

It seems to have become much more common lately with men as well.. what happened to the courtesy of at least calling/txting to cancel a date? Even if you give lame excuse, it's a matter of respect.

Yes.

Flakiness is now the norm.
