Should i wish my ex bf a happy holiday today?

We have been broken up for 3 months,,,and i have been in NC for 2 and a half months. We started NC after we had a huge fight,he wished me happy birthday 10 days after that fight but nothing more.He also tried to contact my sister few times(they are not close at all)

I do still want him back and i wonder if i maybe should take the chance and wish him a happy birthday? maybe breaking the ice just to see his reaction

what do you think?

Many people on here would advocate against it, but in my opinion, I feel like in the end you should do what you feel is right. I mean you have been in NC for quite a bit, longer than I have been at least, so I don't see the harm. Just be cautious and don't expect anything in return for wishing him Happy Birthday. If you are doing it as a means to hopefully reconcile then I would advise against it because you will most likely end up disappointed. Don't do this if you know it will open up old wounds. Hope all goes well and best of luck.

Well I hope all goes well. If anything, be cool and don't rush things. Unfortunately these things take a lot of time so you just keep moving forward and living your life.
