Why does it get to you, personally?

Aside from that, consider that when an individual man comes here for advice on how to get a date it isn't unreasonable to suggest things that he could do differently while it would be entirely unreasonable, unhelpful and rather impractical to suggest how to change the entire female population to enable him to get a date. Yes, the man isn't always to blame, but the solution to his problem isn't changing other people.

Changing the entire female race = straw man, but having some sympathy in hearing women admit that female behavior is in part responsible for these guys' situations is not an unreasonable expectation. I see lots of threads with men who take a woman on a few dates and then she stops returning their calls without any explanation. That's plain rude no matter who you are. There's really no excuse for not telling someone after several dates that you aren't interested in seeing them further.

I rarely see female posters or anyone else acknowledging as such, "wow what a rude girl, sorry you had to deal with that." Instead, the female tendency here displayed most often is to launch into instant defensive rationalizations about why it's ok to stop taking calls from a guy who may have spent $100 on early dates. "Women feel uncomfortable rejecting men," "Women are raised to be nice," any number of other BS blame avoiding rationalizations for plain rudeness. Even some with the gall to turn it back on him, YOU MUST HAVE DONE SOMETHING WRONG, LOL, with the implication that women are incapable of simple rudeness, the man is to blame for any bad behavior of hers. That's crap, and it goes on lots here.

So what you think should be shown is more empathy towards the individual before dispensing with suggestions that might get him towards his aim?

Sounds pretty straight-forward.

That is so freaking beautiful.

No, it's not freaking beautiful. You wouldn't like it at all if someone made a derogatory emblem describing a group of female posters here and posted that, even you should be able to admit that's plain wrong.

I think it's probably completely justified for women in general to not go to an empathetic place with guys who refer to women as trash, cum dumpsters, Tuesday night's leftovers, etc.

I have no problem empathizing with hurting people of either gender if they are not behaving or speaking hatefully.

People who are willing to look at "their side of the street" before laying any blame at all on women, men, porn, mommy, society, blah, blah, I've said it all before, etc., are the people who I believe want to improve their lives, and who I am excited about trying to help. I don't care if they are male or female.

More than that, there is little room for gray areas and individualism to some posters. Because Dasein mentioned that a woman was rude does not mean he hates all women. Nor does it mean all women are rude. People are individuals and not just members of a gender.

That emblem is amusing. I've had a few ideas similar to this but if I were to post them I'm sure I would just get banned LOL.

I'm with you on this. While I might not take kindly to the constant rantings of anyone (be they the subject of this thread or any others), this kind of thing looks to be done more in a hurtful rather than playful manner. As one laughs at someone rather than with someone

Both welikeincrowds were joking around a bit, at least I was. I don't think either of us had the intention to be genuinely derogatory.

To be honest, I haven't seen too many of the men we're talking about in this thread use those terms. One or two posters may have, but certainly not the whole bunch.

I promise that my sense of humor works when the butt of the joke is women OR men, or whomever. As long as it's actually funny. Especially if it's smart. Which I thought NO and welike's were.

Anyway, evidently welike has been punished.

Two of the men who have participated in this thread have used those terms in other threads. I think that this thread has been (mercifully) spared.

Has he been banned? Does seem like it right?

The amount of bitterness from men on here has grown tenfold in the past couple of years......pretty much due to the lack of moderating on here.

Are there more bitter men than women on here? It sure as heck looks like it. If the numbers are even then that means that the men post about 10 times more than the women on here.

Oh puhleeze, don't even...

So "Tuesday night's leftovers" is equivalent to a hate crime even when applied to no one here or anywhere in particular, yet an insulting, demeaning graphic directed specifically at a group of actual LS posters is somehow "funny?" Shameless.

Yeah, it looks like he was banned, since his posts are no longer here.

I had no intention on getting anyone banned or making anyone angry at each other. I had hoped that this could be a calm discussion of an issue that seemed to be a problem on here. I guess that was too much to hope for. :(

I have never referred to a woman as a cum dumpster or tuesday night's leftovers.

Wow you seem to be taking this waaay too seriously, didn't expect that from you dasein, you always struck me as a levelheaded guy. It's just a parody on the b*tching from men that is going on on this forum in general, nothing more nothing less.

I am a levelheaded guy, and understand you probably just joined in without thinking too much. Members don't deserve direct ridicule it's really that simple, whether you want to call it a harmless parody or not. I got moderation for calling someone "shortbus" who goaded me into it by calling a thread I made "pointless." His calling my thread dumb remained, my posts were moderated for 30 days. Go figure, but I admit I was wrong to call him shortbus. My bad, I am responsible for my posts, and paid the penalty. Them's the breaks. I got another 30 days (I think, I was gone from the forum while that one ticked off) for telling someone "I don't imagine you pay too much in taxes." Go figure, but I was wrong and accept accountability.

That logo makes things personal in a very graphic way. It is insulting and demeaning, directed at specific members, and my analogy to what would happen if someone did the same to a group of female posters holds true. I hope he didn't get banned entirely, but that's for mods to decide, not me.

I realize that and I feel bad after I do because I know there are good women on here but it just gets to me sometimes. Some people are just such hypocrites.

Take it to the next level and ask yourself what is it you really want. Is it (a) to hurt a particular person at a particular time or (b) to get out of the cycle of abuse and effect long term change.

LS is a golden opportunity for these guys to learn to interact with women in a positive manner. They've received sympathy, empathy and thread after thread of good advice. Instead of being kind back, they continue to spew bile all over women.

Enough. Neither sympathy or attention of any kind. They're welcome to wallow in their misery.

Yikes. That was a frightening and hateful thing to say. At least you are consistent.

My mere analogous example is so "frightening and hateful" yet a jacking off hand aimed at men here who have trouble getting sexual attention from women isn't insulting or degrading in any way? just "funny?" Thought as much.

If it makes you feel any better, I just got flagged for my reply to your post in another thread :lmao: --- I felt that reply was warranted too >B, but it seems there are better and more civil ways to state the same thing.

You're right. Mme. Chaucer's posts and general attitude often make me feel sad and scared, too. She is so terribly mean.

Sniff.. :(

I applaud your biting, intelligent and very correct attack on a certain poster. But best be happy and leave it at that. There's far too many worthless people in the world to ever even make a dent, friend. Society is only going to get worse, not better, and this is what the architects intended. No sense getting all riled up, just find whatever happiness you can.
